My "real name" is Jo-Anne (prefer Jo) and I'm an Aussie living with my husband and three kids (aged seven, five and three)in New Brunswick, Canada. NB is one of the eastern Maritime provinces and is known for it's rugged beauty, fantastic beaches and great seafood. We are also the only province in Canada that is officially bilingual; i.e. English and French. My husband is French Canadian and our children go to French school.
In Australia I worked in children's TV for the Seven Network, hosting a live show called "Wombat". It was a blast, got to meet some really neat people, celebrities, actors, rock stars and lots of wonderful kids. I left Australia for the U.S. when I was twenty three years old and somehow ended up in New Brunswick (don't remember how that happened!). Anyway, I went to university here, and ended up co-ordinating a Victim Services Unit at our local police dept. Very fulfilling work but pretty stressful. I left there when I was pregnant with my first child and have been a stay at home Mom since. I have done some contract TV work over the years for our local Cable station, and now have a home-based company called "Coolabah Entertainment"; I manage and book tours for musicians. I'm currently representing a female quartet who do traditional Celtic and French Acadian Folk/Jazz and a singer songwriter who has had his stuff recorded by Joe Cocker, Kenny Rogers and others and is just in the process of releasing his latest album.
I can't honestly say that I love DOOL.. I find it kinda ridiculous most of the time, but I do really like some of the actors on it - Louise Sorrel, Kristian Alfonso and Doc. Mike (sigh) in particular. I think I keep watching just to participate in the discussion board. I've "met" some wonderful people from all over the U.S. and I love reading their rants and opinions. See you on the board!
I live in southern tier of New York, the Finger Lake Region. I'm formerly from Northwestern PA. I have been married for 25 years. I work as an administrative assistant for a very large university where my husband is a professor.I have a son who will be 24 soon and after graduating from Nigara Univerity is now working for the same university as my husband and I.
I love to cross stitch and reading fictional and non-fictional historial romance novels. Because of my husband's profession I do a lot of traveling all over the world, which is a lot of fun. I love meeting new people and trying new things. I find working with all the college students they do keep you feeling young. I love reading everyone's postings it's great.

Name is Joy Hill, live in Virginia, 35 miles west of DC and 13 miles away from the Blue Ridge Mountains. Run my own business so I can be at home for my 3 children, 2 boys 12 and 11 and a daughter 7 -- web design and graphic arts. Been in this business 14 years and couldn't ask for a career I'd enjoy more (cept for maybe being a lawyer, a battle of the wits always revs me up!).
Started watching Days in 1987, when both boys were in diapers -- found out they'd eat their lunch better if the TV was on and they watched, shoving whatever in their mouths. Days was the only show that interested me. Interests include 'puting, of course, snow skiing, gardening, billiards, reading, sewing, and wine tasting (he he he). Used to be a member of the Joseph Mascolo fan club but got kicked out cuz I put a toilet flushing sound on my Titan site when I closed it down. Go figure ...
I am Kate, 19 years old, and I live in central Florida. I love the warm weather and when it "gets down" to about 60 degrees, I break out the winter clothes-LOL. So needless to say, I am very accustomed to my location and couldn't live anywhere else. I am attending the local Community College full-time and work for Publix Supermarkets part-time. I am still undecided on my major though. I would love to be a social worker and really make a difference in children's lives.
I started watching DAYS religously last May. I don't always have the time to watch the show or tape it and watch it later so I have been relying on the Spoiler 3 to keep me updated. I read their spoilers every day. Thanks to the Internet and many loyal DAYS fans who have set up web sites, I have caught up on the major events of the past story lines that I have missed. Days is really the only TV I watch, I am just too busy.
I enjoy rollerblading, reading magazines, going to local restaurants and bars with friends (but not drinking-I'm not old enough), going to the local beaches, and going online.
I have two cats, Robin and Jimmy (Buffett), who was named after my favorite musician. I am dating a wonderful guy, Dave, and we plan to marry in a few years. I really can't wait for that!
I'm 43; been watching Days for 10-12 years now; live in Boston; originally from northern Vermont; work in a library at a very large university; 2 kids (son & daughter) both in college now; married for 23+ years; enjoy Days, English murder mysteries (Agatha Christie, P.D. James, Martha Grimes) collecting antique colored glassware (yellow and blue), and my vegetable garden.
I have 2 cats - Midnight & Cloudy (age 12 - they are 'sisters'). Love this board - read every day, post when I can.
I love seeing where everyone else is from, and what their interests are; so I think having this "bio" link is a great idea!
