The Pirates are getting better, they may contend more next year, and WILL contend in 2001 when the new stadium opens. Jason Kendall, Brian Giles, and Kris Benson will lead them to the World Series, I hope!I love baseball, and I love them Buccos!! Let's Go Bucs!!!

Well, half of the team left for "greener" pastures, but "Cowher Power" will keep the Steelers going strong. It may take a year or two of rebuilding, but I think the Steelers will be strong again sooner than later. Here we go Steelers, Here we go!

Mario saved the Pens, again! Thanks big guy!! With Lemieux owning them, the Penguins are looking to become one of the elites in the NHL again, and with Jaromir Jagr, anything is possible. That guy is just amazing! He can make any goalie look just plain silly.

We are ... Penn State! Although they didn't quite live up to expectations this year, JoePa will have them back next year for another run at the title. Penn State is always finding great players, from Franco Harris and Jack Ham, to O.J. McDuffie and Lavar Arrington. Penn State is ALWAYS a threat to win them all!

And of course, I can't have a sports page without giving my congrats to Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa! Way to go guys!!!
