Andy is fired when he refuses. Pointing out his contract doesn’t allow him to be fired, he is put to work on the Childrens Hour (scenes with Sonny.) Andy takes the show "on the road," broadcasting the activities of children. Mouse Malone (Tommy) invites Andy to see a boxing match that he is presenting. Mouse tells Andy that he believes Nicey killed his brother Danny. He tells Andy that the night Copeland dissappeared his brother was asked to do a cement job. Andy investigates and finds that the house Danny went to belongs to Weston, the chief accountant at Copeland’s business. Andy finds new cement in the garage and assumes it is a grave. Pretending to be interested in buying the house, Andy calls Weston. Nicey and Weston go back to the house and dig up Copeland’s body. The police identify the body and Andy broadcasts from the murder site. A shoot-out occurs and Nicey is killed, Nichols is arrested and Andy gets his job back.
