English || ÖÐÎÄ°æ With his mind set on conquering the world, Conquer aka Xiong Ba (played by Sonny Chiba) of the World Society turned to the prophet Mud Buddha for advice. The prophet’s remarks on Xiong Ba’s early years was:
"A fish with golden scales will not be trapped by a pond.
Whispering Wind (played by Cheng Ekin) was actually Nie Feng whose mother was seduced by Xiong Ba when he was still young. Nie Feng’s father in his anger challenged Xiong Ba to a duel, only to be trapped instead in the Fiery Cave of the Chinese Unicorn. Unaware that Xiong Ba was the enemy who destroyed his family, Nie Feng later joined the World Society, hoping to learn the skills that would enable him to confront the Chinese Unicorn one day.

As such, Xiong Ba was determined to seek out Wind and Cloud to assist his cause. His followers managed to locate the two boys by following the birth dates calculated by the Mud Buddha.
Striding Cloud aka Bu Jing Yun (played by Aaron Kwok) on the other hand was the son of renowned sword-caster Bu Jing Tian. In his quest for the best weapons in the world, Xiong Ba sent his followers to annihilate the entire Bu family so as to retrieve the family’s Unique Sword. Fortunately the sword was well-hidden and Xiong Ba’s followers left in vain. Bu Jing Yun survived the massacre and joined the World Society, waiting silently all this time for a chance to avenge his family.
Nie Feng and Bu Jing Yun grew up together with Xiong Ba’s first pupil Frost aka Qin Shuang (played by Michael Tse) and his daughter Charity aka Kong Ci (played by Yang Gong Ru). Over time, the World Society was fast becoming near-invincible and only top pugilist Saint of Swords could possibly challenge Xiong Ba. The duel between them was drawing near and Xiong Ba wanted to seek the advice of Mud Buddha once again. Nie Feng was sent by Xiong Ba to locate the old prophet while Bu Jing Yun was to obtain the Unrivaled Sword. The plot thickens…
