The Aston Martin DB5 was the first "real" Bond vehicle in the series. Q Branch specially designed this automobile for 007 which included machine guns behind the front grille, a passenger ejector seat, and a few other extras. Bond uses this car while tailing Goldfinger through the Swiss Alps and has his run-in with Miss Masterson and her Ford Mustang. He uses his tire blades to ruin her tires and then explains it to her as a "double blow-out. I've never seen one of these before." In a way, this symbolizes the epitome of the classic Bond car. Many find this vehicle to be the best of the bunch. It is an excellent automobile which has returned in some other of Bond's missions.
