For On Her Majesty's Secret Service, James Bond returned to a British-made vehicle after cruising around in a Japanese 3000GT two years before. And once again, Aston Martin was the vehicle of choice. However, this model strayed a bit from the DB5 variation. While the '69 model didn't look a whole lot different from the earlier Bondmobiles, it was rather modestly equipped. The only special feature installed on this vehicle was a telescopic site located in the glove box, which Bond uses to scope Tracy at the beach in the film's opening sequence. The DBS is one of the finest looking of 007's autos. Sleek and dynamic, the DBS was a vehicle which should have had many successors in the later films.
