Q Branch supplied 2 Lotus Esprits for James Bond to use during the For Your Eyes Only mission. The first, a white 1981 Esprit, was used by Bond in Cuba to spy on hitman Hector Gonzales. The car was destroyed when a Locque goon attempted to break into the Lotus and the self-destruct system erupted into a fireball. The second car, a burgundy '81 Esprit, helped 007 get around in Tofana while he tracked down Locque. 007 aide Luigi Ferrara was killed in this car, but its status remains unknown.
