The Glastron Hydrofoil served only one purpose in 007's Moonraker mission. Q lended the boat to Bond (presuming its safe return, as always) to cruise the Amazon River in Brazil in search of the rare orchid Drax had concocted the deadly gas with. 007 was interrupted in his search by Jaws and several boatloads of lackies. After torpedoing and mine-exploding many of the ensuing boats, Bond makes one last effort to escape the clutches of death by fleeing the Hydrofoil by the concealed hang glider. Meanwhile, sending the speeding Jaws over the deadly waterfalls.
