James Bond uses the Aston Martin Volante to the fullest in The Living Daylights mission. It takes him to Czechoslovakia to keep tabs with Kara and allows him to escape the authorities en route to Vienna, Austria. 007 makes use of Q's inventions here by slicing the squad car of two Czech officers, blasting his way through a roadblock, eluding more police on a frozen pond, and finally powering his way over a wall thanks to the rocket engine before having to ditch the Volante after crashing into deep snow. Before ditching, however, Bond must destroy the vehicle before police get to it.
