Hey, you made it! You're here, you want reviews, you want the straight skinny. If not, you must have made a serious wrong turn at Yahoo! I hate blowing $7.50 on a flick that lured me in because of a flashy preview, or some wiseass catchphrase, or even a shot of a sexy girl jumping a motorcycle over a flaming dragon. But I especially hate waltzing (wait, I don't waltz) into the theater, actually thinking the advertised movie I've been waiting months to see, is going to be memorable in some way. Maybe it's the director, or a certain actor that I've been looking forward to (case in point, the absolute CLINKER Jackie Brown- I dare ya to e-mail me saying how much you liked Tarantino's "character study"). I DO however, enjoy commenting on a really great film that may be overlooked by the masses, or underappreciated (Apt Pupil, The Postman). I've also decided to review whatever videos or DirecTV movies I've recently watched, because hey, that's where most of the movie watching happens, right in front of the boob tube. So, take your pick.
