Episode #104 - Blown Away

While Dawson and Joey are watching tv, they see a weather report that says that Hurricane Chris might reach Capeside. When Mrs. Leery and her co-anchor, Bob, come on, Dawson expresses his frustration with their affair. The next day, he hints to his mother that he knows what's going on. Mr. Leery suggests that they invite Jen and her grandmother over to ride out Hurrican Chris, and Dawson begins to get the house ready for the storm.
Meanwhile, Pacey and his brother, a police officer named Doug, are getting the beach ready for the storm. As they work, Pacey teases Doug by saying that he is gay. Later, Pacey goes to Tamara's house and is suprised to find Doug there. They decide to stay with Tamara during the storm. Pacey gets jealous when Doug starts flirting with with Tamara, so Pacey tells her that Doug is gay. When Tamara tell this to Doug, he gets mad and pulls a gun on Pacey, apparently joking.
Over at Joey's house, Bessie and Bodie are arguing over whether or not to circumcise the child that they are expecting. Then, along with Joey, they both go to Dawson's house to ride out the storm. There, Jen's grandmother throws a few nasty comments their way. Dawson finally confronts his mother about the affair, and tells her that she has to tell Mr. Leery. When she does, he explodes, and coldly says that he now chooses not to love her anymore. Dawson has an argument with Jen, which Joey overhears.
After the storm, Pacey and Doug leave Tamara's house, and Jen, Jen's grandmother, Bessie, Bodie, and Joey all go home.
