I met Tom Eplin at a Hardees Restaurant in Jackson, Minnesota. He was on his way to California to visit his parents for the 4th of July. It was the BIGGEST thrill of my life, and I've been on the planet for 65 years. He is a very nice, kind person, and is even cuter in person.

I was eating dinner at the restaurant when he walked in. I just knew it was him, but would never have expected him to be in a small town like Jackson. I was so glad to be there when he came in. He was very friendly, and after he ate his meal, he had his picture taken with me and he gave me his autograph. I hope he stops in again--hopefully I 'll be lucky enough to be there again.
