Tom, on why he has never been nominated for an Emmy: "Actors don't like me. Being in a scene with me has got to be a pain in the ass. I'm constantly saying, 'This is not good.' The other day I stopped a scene I was doing with three other actors. My unfortunate big mouth will tell you, I think I'm already the best actor. I don't need a f---ing award."

Tom, on Chris and Jake's relationship: "I honestly believe they're the best couple on daytime. I swear to you. Jake and Chris are the perfect yin and yang of a person... Chris embodies everything that Jake wants, but will not take the time or effort to do."

Tom, about Jake: "I think Jake is like a shark. If he stops moving he will die. I think if there were a real life character like Jake, he'd be dead now."

Judi, about Tom: "What makes Tom interesting is his unpredictability. You never know what's coming next when you're with him. He also has that brooding, sensitive look, and eyes that draw girls in like flies to honey. And also, he's really well read. He looks like a biker dude, but he knows all about French wine. It's terribly intriguing"

Judi, on working with Tom: "He can be the most loving man one minute and the most difficult the next. And you're just along for the ride -- you're on a roller coaster and you didn't buy the ticket. The good thing about him is that when he is on, he really makes you work. Honey, he puts you through things in a scene ... you'd better be able to push just as hard."

Jensen, when asked what she liked and disliked about Tom: "The same things that I love about Tom are the things that drive me completely crazy. He's very passionate, which can be entirely exhausting. He's a thinker, and I love that about him, but he can also think himself into a complete frenzy."

Anna Stuart (Donna) on Tom and Jensen's relationship: "The most important thing is that Tommy adores, adores, adores Jensen. With all the acting out, with all the mood swings that he has, he adores Jensen. They have this wonderfully honest, brutally honest relationship. And Jensen just calls Tommy on everything, and because he adores her so much, she can really sock it to him. The texture of their relationship is like best working friends."

Linda Dano about Tom: "Best pilot I ever flew with...crazy, but the best!"

Tom on gearing up for Jake & Vicky's romance: "It scares me. I've been blessed to have a totally professional level with people that I wouldn't normally be attracted to outside of the reigns of daytime. Then you're forced to work with somebody that you respect a great deal and you find attractive and it becomes embarrassing. I hope she likes the way Jake -- Tom -- kisses. I find myself brushing my teeth seven times a day now. I smoke; Jensen doesn't, so you get nervous. I like the banter. Let's keep the banter going for as long as we can possibly do it. I'm doing sit-ups now. I don't do sit-ups. I'm in mini-camp for the Jake and Vicky saga."

Tom on working with Jensen Buchanan (Vicky): "When you walk into a scence with Jensen and maybe you don't know your material as well as you should you can just look and get your energy and trust from her eyes. She gives you a look like saying, 'Just jump and we'll go together.' I've never worked with anybody that I've had that. Judi and I manufactured a lot of it; it was a mehcanical thing. With Jensen it's like one of those yin and yang things. I think Jensen as a person if you put us together as one person, would be a better person than me. Jensen has all the qualities I lack in my life. She's got class, she eloquent. She's got an innate sense of taste, not offending people. She has alot of qualities that I don't have. I think that bleeds over into the work. When you're doing the work and you're reaching out it's because you're having a shortage of something that Jensen happened to have alot of."

Tom on working with Judi Evans Luciano (Paulina): "I have told Judi a hundred times I feel so at home working with her that often times I walk away from the set feeling like we did not do anything. Then alot of times I will watch it in retrospect and it looks like stuff is happening. Most people have an anchor where they put their stakes. Judi will raise her stakes in the scene. Everyone knows I come in and I do not know my lines. Judi will move the stakes in the scene higher and higher so that there is no limit. She is the first actor that I ever worked with -- and I use the word actor -- that ever gave me any credit for being in the scene."

Tom on Jake's qualities: "I have never met anybody as honorable as Jake. Never met anybody who has his own sense of morals that he sticks to as well as Jake does. Jake is always trying to do the right thing."

Tom on why he is so adventerous: "I enjoy doing alot of physically and mentally challenging things. I feed off my experinces. You're born and you die, and the time in between is limited, so I figure if that's how life works, then I want all it has to offer."

Tom on dating: "If anybody looks over my history of people that I've dated there's always something different. I married a thing blonde. I married a buxom brunette. I think it's something in their personality that I find interesting. Each time it came be something different."

Tom on the AW studio: "I've done everything from getting married to getting divroced in this building. My first time living alone in a big city in this building, everything. I think the walls of this studio are as big a deal to me as the people are."

Jensen, about Tom: "I think Tom is the most wonderful man. He has the most handsome hazel eyes, but what really makes him beaufiful to me is his unrelenting spirit."

Tom's final words to Another World's fans: "I would like to thank the fans for sticking with us for as long as they did. It was out of our control, but we gave it our best shot to keep ANOTHER WORLD on the air."
