Guide to Titanic
Personal Stats

Since you're probably wondering what kind of a boring person has the time to work on a site like this, here is some info on myself:

  • I live in Jacksonville, Illinois (known to the rest of the world only as 'the middle of nowhere')

  • I measure six feet one; I'm not about to blab to the world how much I weigh.

  • I am a junior at Jacksonville High School, where I do a lot of entertainment work for the school newspaper (hence all the reviews). I also designed the school paper's web page, for those of you that want to check it out.

  • For those of you who know a lot about me, you may want to check out The Top Ten Journalism Class Inside Jokes. Be forewarned: unless you're an insider, these inside jokes are gonna be hard to understand.

  • My main hobbies are writing, computers, and photography

  • I do not have a job; however, my schedule is often so full that you'd never know the difference.

  • A lot of people ask me what my favorite movie is. It has to be a tie between The Terminator and Aliens; second place, Titanic, with Terminator 2, Star Wars, and Twister close runners up, in no particular order. I don't have a favorite actor, but I LOVE Helen Hunt; she most definitely deserved the Oscar that she got for As Good As It Gets.

  • I like to do a lot of school play stuff. Last year I played Pochatkin in Neil Simon's The Good Doctor in the fall, and in the spring I had four different roles in The Wizard of Oz (Tough Guy Munchkin, Snowman, Ozian, Winkie General). this December I was in The Diary of Anne Frank, playing Mr. VanDaan, and in March I was in Oklahoma, in which I played Slim, which is another one of those insultingly small parts. (Oklahoma was not a pleasant memory for me.)

  • I also just finished working as assistant director on James and the Giant Peach, which was a blast. I loved that play more than anything in the world. I'll be posting photographs as soon as I get them. My next role is coming up this summer in Damn Yankees; I'm really looking forward to it.

    Posing
Not a great picture, but hey, I could care less. TAKING the picture was massively uncomfortable for me, though-- everyone else is either six inches shorter than me, or they were kneeling down, so I look like Quasimodo. Oh well.
    Messing around
Again-- this pic didn't turn out too hot, but it's kinda cool. This one was actually reasonably fun to pose for, although Amy (the one in the background with her mouth open) wasn't too impressed with the way it came out.

  • The only decent picture ever taken of me
Me with pals Kasie Gregory and Wendy Mayfield; quite possibly the only decent picture ever taken of me.

    Messing around backstage
I know this picture is less than flattering, but what the heck. Here I'm messing around backstage at our school production of Neil Simon's The Good Doctor. I played Pochatkin, which is pretty much as small as a role can get before you're considered an extra. Oh well.

(In case you're wondering, no, we're not in costume (obviously) and no, I don't wear that same shirt 24-7. I just happened to be wearing the same thing in these past two pics.)

    The John Travolta
No, I cannot dance. However I do LIKE to dance (think Elaine off of Seinfeld); in this pic I'm just posing, though; any pictures of me REALLY dancing would easily have broken the camera.

    Goofing off
Here I am being incredibly stupid-- my specialty!

    Jack-- I'm flying!!!
One note: what you see in this picture is considered ACTING-- we were trying to finish a roll of film, so we started goofing off and reenacting all these scenes. James Cameron, eat your heart out!
