1250-1517 - Bag from the Egyptian Mamluk Period
A silk bag with applied patchwork squares in red, blue, yellow, and green. Each square is decorated with embroidered eyelets in contracting colors. There is a linen lining. The bag is 11 x 8.5 cm and has fringe along the edges and a cord handle.
