Ralph Fiennes

Why Ralph?
Ralph is quite possibly the sexiest man alive. No really, I mean it. While most people know him as the tortured character from the English Patient, his breakthrough performance was as Amon Goeth, a brutal nazi concentration camp commander, in Spielburg's brilliant film "Schindler's List."  What made Ralph so amazing in this role was that he brought remarkable depth to a character that could easily have been very two dimensional.  With a look he could communicate rage, lust, fear, brutality, or torment, often all in the same glance.  He received an Oscar nomination for this role, losing to Tommy Lee Jones, if I recall correctly. :P

He has also stunned us in Quiz Show,  Oscar and Lucinda, the English Patient (could he BE any more sexy in that movie?), and as Hamlet on Broadway.  His most recent feature film is the Avengers (which I just saw).  He was great in that too, though it was a far departure from his more serious and brooding roles of the past.  He is easily one of the most gifted actors of his generation. Okay, and he's yummy eye candy as well. :) Also of note--he has a younger brother, Joseph, who may be of interest to the other Ralph fans out there. He was recently in Elizabeth and his upcoming film "Shakepeare in Love" also stars Gwyneth Paltrow. Check it out.
