Why Angelina?

Angelina is the poster child for women who kick ass. She should be the official mascot of this page, probably.  The daughter of Jon Voight, she's been in some awesome movies, most notably Hackers, George Wallace (for which she won a golden globe), Foxfire (she was perhaps the only good thing about that movie), Pushing Tin, Playing By Heart, and Gia (where she racked up golden globe numero dos).  Upcoming films include The Bone Collector (with Denzel Washington) and Girl, Interrupted (with Winona Ryder).

She was briefly married to Jonny Lee Miller, best known for his role as Sickboy in Trainspotting.  For the wedding ceremony, she wore black rubber pants and a white t-shirt with his name written on it in her own blood. Hee hee.  Her various tattoos are a dragon on her upper arm, an H on the inside of her wrist, a Tennesee Williams quote "A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages." on her left forearm, a blue rectangle on the small of her back that symbolizes a window, and a latin motto just above her bikini line which translates to "What nourishes me also destroys me.".  Quite a collection of body art.  She's also got a knife scar or two, the result of her fascination with bladed objects.  She once commented, "You're young, you're in love, you've got knives....shit happens."

If that doesn't make her a girl who kicks ass, then I don't what would.  I admire that she is a strong independent woman, who is more than willing to give the finger to anyone who doesn't like her (or her tattoos).  So, rock on, Angelina....
