A yellow sadan came tearing down Willow Creek road heading towards Hazzard County. Inside the car was a young woman and an infant child.
"Won't Bo Duke be surprised" the woman said. The baby gurgled in responce. " I know sweetie, she smiled, I should have told him a while ago".

 It was noontime and the Duke Boys were at the Boar's Nest having the usual.
"Bring us 2 beer's Daisy!" Luke  shouted.
"Comin right up honey!" Daisy shouted back.
Luke turned back to Bo. "Well cous, looks like for once, were having a peaceful day"
"Oh I don't know Luke, Bo smiled; the day ain't over yet"
"Your right, it ain't Luke smiled back.
 Daisy came on over and brought them their beers.
"Daisy, what is this?" Bo asked
"It's called beer Bo"
"Sure it ain't just rusty water" Luke said.
"Boss Hogg had then watered down again and tose the price up too" Daisy explained.
 "How he makes money with this, I don't know" Bo answered.
"That's easy Luke stated; theres no other place to go around here to get beer unless you want to drive all the way to Chickasaw County".
"The folks around here don't want to do that, there to afraid  of  Sherrif Little"
"Guess we toughn up and drink it"
"That's if we don't drown in it first" Bo joked.

The yellow sadan  parked in  the Boars Nest parking lot. the young woman saw the General Lee parked there also.
"Well here we go sweetie" said the woman as she picked up her baby.
 "I wonder how he's gonna take it, guess we'll find out soon enough" she said to her baby.

"Oh my lord" Luke said, "Bo Look who just walked in"
 Bo turned to see what Luke was talkin about.
 "LouAnn!!" Bo shouted in surprise.
 "Hi Bo, Luke, Daisy" she greeted, suddenly feeling shy.
"How have you been? when did you decided to come back to Hazzard?" Bo asked.
 "Ive been alright Bo, and I came back to see you"
 Luke almost choked on his popcorn, and Bo gave him a dirty look.
"Can we go somewheres private Bo I really got to talk to you" LouAnn asked.
"Sure, lets go outside"
"Alright"
 Bo and LouAnn got up and went outside.
"I wonder what that is about" Daisy said.
"I don't know Daisy, but I got a feeling it ain't good"

"So, I see you have a little one in your arms there" Bo said and smiled.
"Yes I do, want to hold her?"
"Sure"
Bo took the baby from LouAnn and cuddled her to his chest.
"What's her name?"
 "Katie Lee"
"You married now?"
"No Bo I ain't married"
"She's so cute" Bo said
"Yes she is, just like her father"
 "Who's her father?"
"You are Bo"
Bo Looked up from the baby and stared  at LouAnn. His face paled and he gave Katie back to LouAnn.
"What!"
"Your Katie's father Bo" LouAnn said softly.
"How,when?" Bo stammered.
"Well we know how Bo" LouAnn smiled. "Ss for when, I found out I was pregnant 2 months after I left Hazzard after what happened between us"
 "Are you sure she's mine?" Bo asked
"Bo you were my first, of course Im sure"
"Why didn't you tell me!?"  Bo said getting angry.
"Look, Bo  can we talk about this later, I gotta feed Katie"
"Your dang right were gonna talk about this"
"What are you gonna say to your family?"
"I have no idea." Bo said while running his hand through his hair.
"Im sure they're gonna be just as shocked as I am" Bo told her.
"Iam sorry about not telling you sooner"
"We'll talk later ok, get that child of mine fed" he smiled.
"Ok" she smiled back.
"Where are you staying LouAnn?"
"Im staying at Hoggs Hotel"
 "Well, why not go feed Katie and get some rest, and then come to the farm for dinner and we'll talk and tell the family then". Bo suggested.
"Sounds good, might as well get it all over with"
"Yeah, the sooner the better"
 Bo helped LouAnn into her car and out of habbit he kissed her softly.
 "What was that for?"
"Juat a welcome back to hazzard kiss is all" Bo smiled.
"Oh ok"
"Ill see you back at the farm" Bo said.
"Ill be there" With  that she started her car and left.

Bo walked back into the boars nest and joined Luke and Daisy at the table.
"Bo are you alright honey?" Daisy asked.
"Yeah you look pale" Luke added.
"Yeah cousins, im fine, I just had the shock of my life"
"What happened with LouAnn?" Daisy asked.
 "Ill explain everything after dinner", Bo Paused. Actually LouAnn and I will explain everything"
 Daisy and Luked looked at each other and shrugged.
 "Well fellas, I gotta get back to work, Ill see ya'll at home"
"Ok Daisy"
Daisy walked off.
"Well Bo, guess we better get back to the farm and finish that fence"
"Yeah, sure lets go"
Luke just looked at Bo not saying anything.
"Luke can  you drive the General home, I don't feel much like  driving"
"Sure"
"Thanks"
"You sure your alright?"
"Yes Luke, Im fine"
"Ok"
"Ok sweetie, it's nap time" LouAnn said as she put Katie down on the bed.
 "Mommy's gonna go take a shower  and then join you afterwards"
 LouAnn  then went to take her shower and she let her mind wonder about:

"Who was that  man?" Bo asked in an angry tone.
"He's just a friend Bo, it's not what it seems"
"Oh, and friends kiss like that?"
"Bo please, LouAnn begged; it didn't  mean anything, your the one I love"
"Do you always kiss friends like that?" Bo was at his full temper now.
"STOP IT BO! LouAnn shouted. " I would never hurt you, it was just a kiss"
"I don't understand you LouAnn!"
 "Why won't you belive me Bo?" LouAnn shouted, close to tears.
"I love you Bo, I proved it last night"
"Well maybe last night was a mistake!" Bo said.
 The Look on LouAnn's face made Bo really regret what he said.
 "LouAnn I...." Bo  didn't finish his sentence, LouAnn took off running and crying t owards her car and took off.
"Damn!" Bo cursed. "Me and my big mouth"
 Bo never saw LouAnn again after that, untill today.

LouAnn shook the memory away  and got out  of the shower, put on some cloths and fell asleep by Katie, trying to forget the past.

"Dang it!" yelled Bo
"What?" Luke asked.
"I hammered my fingers instead of the nails!" Bo answered while shaking his hand.
"You ok?"
"Yeah"
"Bo what's got you so distracted? It can't be LouAnn after what she did to you?"
"Theres more to it Luke"
"Mind telling me what it is?"
"Id rather tell everyone at dinner ok, that way I don't have to repeat it all again"
"Well, if that's what you want to do"
"It is"

Well 5pm rolled around and Daisy just got home and knew there would be a guest tonite and she put on  her good dress and made fried chicken for dinner.
At 5:30pm Bo and Luke came in to wash up. Bo was extremely nersvous everytime someone spoke to him he jumped.
"Geez Bo, a certain someone must have scared you good"  Luke Joked.
"Cute"
At 5:40pm a car was heard coming down the road. Bo jumped up and went outside to wait for LouAnn and his daughter.
His Daughter. Bo smiled to himself.
LouAnn parked beside the General Lee and got out.
"shhhhh,  I just got Katie alsleep"
"Ok"
 Bo helped LouAnn and Katie into the house. This is it, thought Bo.
 LouAnn gave Bo a nervous glace.
 "Hey, it's gonna be ok" he told her softly.  She smiled.
"I hope So"

All the Dukes and LouAnn sat at the table, Uncle Jesse said the blessing and then they ate. After a few minutes of silent Bo finally spoke up.
"LouAnn and I have something to tell you all"
Everyone looked up and put there forks down.
"Go ahead Bo" said Uncle Jesse.
"This isn't very easy to say; Bo began as he got up from the table and went over to pick up Katie. "I want you all to meet Katie, Bo paused, "My daughter"
Daisy gasped, Uncle Jesse paled and Luke was the only one who spoke.
"What!?" Luke said.
 LouAnn stood up.  "it's true, Katie is Bo's daughter"
Luke was the first to speak
"Whoa, you came back to Hazzard to accuse Bo of being this childs father? Haven't you done enough?"
 "Luke" Bo warned.
 "Are you sure about this?" Uncle Jesse asked.
"Im positive" she answered.

Once dinner was finished, Bo walked LouAnn and Katie to  her car.
"Your family sure don't like me much now" She said softly.
 "That's not true LouAnn, They was just surprised is all"
"So, where do we go from here Bo?"
"I don't know LouAnn, I supose we take it one day at a time and go from there"
"I want you to be in Katie's life Bo"
"I want to be in hers to, and yours"
"Well talk about this tommarow ok?"
"Ok"
 Bo watched LouAnn and his daughter leave. Now he's got to face his family. It's gonna  be a long night, Bo thought.

 "How could you be so stupid Bo!" Luke told him.
 "What, havin a kid?"
 "Yes!"
 Look ya'll LouAnn and I loved each other and at the time itfelt right.
 Now Im hopin LouAnn will stay here in Hazzard and maybe we can get married"
 "You've got to be jokin" Luke said disgusted.
 "Now Luke, if that's what they want to do, Im Ok with it. besides every child needs two parents" Uncle Jesse said.
 

The next 3 weeks were the best for Bo  and LouAnn. They talked about marriage and what was best for Katie. Bo took Katie home a few times and relized it wasn't  easy to care for an infant child. Bo had barley gotten any sleep.
"How ya doin Bo"  Daisy asked trying not to laugh at the way Bo looked.
"Just dandy" he replied tiredly.
"Want some breakfast?"
 "Sure, and lots of coffee too"
"Sure thing honey, comin right up" Daisy said as she walked to the kitchen.
What was to happen that morning, Bo will never forget.

LouAnn was on her way up to pick up her daughter at the Duke farm, but decided to go slowly and enjoy the view of what she left behind 11 months ago. She parked the car at side of Ridge runner road  and climb he hill over looking Hazzard county. She stood there for a good hour thinking about everything. Then she looked at her watch and relized she better get going. As she was heading down the hill towards her car she could here a car come racin down the road. She couldn't  see it so she figured she'd better get to her car just in case  the car ran  into her car. As she was crossing the road, she looked up in horror and relized that she should have waited. The black and white sadan came tearing towards her and in a matter of seconds she was hit.  The car kept on going and left LouAnn laying there in the middle of the road.

"I wonder where LouAnn is, Bo wondered. She should be here by now"
"Oh im sure she's on her way" Uncle Jesse stated "she probably wanted you to spend more time with Katie"
"Your probably right Uncle Jesse" Bo smiled.
Katie gurgled and  punched Bo in the face.
Uncle Jesse laughed, "she's acting like her daddy more everyday"
"Cute"
All of a sudden both Daisy and Luke came hurryin into the house like they was on fire.
"Hey what's all the excitement?" Jesse asked.
"Well it's exactly not exciting uncle Jesse"
"What's wrong?" he asked concerned.
"Theres been an accident, LouAnn was involved and is badly hurt" Luke explained.
"What!"  Bo shouted. Katie started crying.
Bo held her close to  him to try to comfort her.
"What happened?" He asked.
"She was hit  by a car" Daisy  said.
"How bad is she?" Uncle Jesse asked.
"We don't know, we'll know when we get to the hospital" Luke told them.
"Well, lets go!" Bo jumped up  with Katie in his arms.

The Dukes were in the waiting room for about 2 hrs when the doctor  finally came in.
"How is she doc?" Bo asked.
"It's not good, there is internal bleeding and we can't stop it" The doctor explained.
"So that means she's gonna........." Bo couldn't finish, he felt sick.
"Yes, she will die in a matter of hours"
"Can we see her?"
"Yes, spend as much time with her as possible, Im really sorry"  with that, the doctor left.
"Go on Bo, we'll wait here" Uncle Jesse t old him.

Bo, with Katie in his arms quitely enterd the ICU ward. He and Katie sat by LouAnn.
"LouAnn, Bo pleaded. "You just got to be ok, don't leave us, we love you, we still have plans to build our future together"
Bo sat there for 2 hrs when all of a sudden LouAnn started gasping for air.
'LouAnn! don't leave us!" Bo cried out. No matter how much Bo begged and pleaded LouAnn had died.
"NO! LouAnn! don't go!" Bo sobbed.

At the Duke farm, all was quite.
"Come on Bo, it's time" Daisy said as she put a hand on  his shoulder.
"Alright" he whispered.
So with Katie in his arms, the Dukes went to LouAnn's funeral.
"How am I gonna do this without her" Bo said mostly to himself.
 "We'll help you cousin, you won't be alone" Luke told him.
Bo smiled weakly,  "Thanks"
After LouAnn's  funeral, the Dukes went home for lunch. While at the table Luke was the first to speak up.
"Hey Bo?"
"Yeah"
"What you gonna do about Katie?"
"If your really askin if Im gonna give her up, I ain't cousin, this is mine ans LouAnn's baby, she's all I have of LouAnn"
"Ok, was just askin is all"
"We'll help you raise her  Bo, you ain't alone in this" Daisy said.
"Thanks, Ill need all the help I can get" Bo smiled.

From that day on the Dukes helped raise Katie, everyday she looked liked LouAnn  and Bo smiled, knowing LouAnn lived inside their daughter.
