Brief Character History: Alex came to Sunset Beach to see her son, Casey. While she was in Sunset Beach, she also had cancer, and she did not want Casey to know. Michael found out however, and promised Alex he would not tell Casey. Alex ended up fainting and Casey found her and called 911. When the paramedica arrived Michael told them that Alex had cancer, Casey was shocked to hear this. After Alex was released from the hospital, she and Casey went to Oslo to get her help. Now Alex's cancer has gone into remission.
