Brief Character History: Antonio came back to Sunset Beach from Mexico to do missionary work. He was good friend to Mark Wolper. He now lives with the gang at Surf Central. Besides listening to Caitlin's, Cole's, and Olivia's confessions, he has been finding out a lot about his new roomate Gabi Martinez. Antonio organized a charity cruise in which he found out that some people from his past were aboard the ship also. Phillip and Francesca Vargas knew Antonio in Mexico. They valuable items from Antonio's parish in Mexico and they made it look like it Antonio did it. Phillip ended up getting shot on the cruise and when Francesca thought her ex-jewel thief partner/ex-lover Cole was dead, she promised Antonio that she would change just to have Cole back. Antonio seems to be jealous of his brother, Ricardo, seeing Gabi. Antonio married Ben Evans and Meg Cummings in the same Church where Ben married Maria. Antonio had very disturbing sexual dreams of a faceless mystery woman. He discovered that the woman he was dreaming about was his brother's girlfriend, Gabi. The marriage of Ben and Meg was later declared invalid, because Ben's ex-wife and Antonio's sister, Maria, was found to be very much alive. Antonio is extremely happy to have his sister back in his life.
