Brief Character History: Casey is a lifeguard, and was involved with the rescue of his former roommate, Meg. He is deathly allergic to strawberries, and was almost killed when he ate a strawberry muffin made by Meg when she thought he was SB. He was involved with Dr. Rae Chang, because when her parents came to visit her and bring her to San Francisco to marry her childhood friend, she told her parents she and Casey were married. In the end, Rae ended up marrying her childhood friend, Wei Lee.
The same day that Rae walked out of his life, his mother, Alex, walked back in. Alex was dying of cancer, and had come to see her son one last time before she died. Casey refused to give up on his mom and the two went to Oslo, Norway to try experimental cures, in the hopes that they would find a cure. Casey then returned to Sunset Beach without his mother. Now that his mother is back and she is in remission, Casey can focus on other things. With the loss of Mark, Casey comforted roommate Gabi Martinez. Casey feels that he is responsible for Meg's life since he saved her once. He risked his own life to find Meg when she was with Derek. Casey became friends with Meg's sister, Sara, when she came to town. Casey added saving Sara from drowing to his heroic list and he's been getting to know Sara very well.
