Brief Character History: Gabi is a "Class A" troublemaker. She arrived in Sunset Beach and began talking with Ricardo Torres one night at "The Deep". She asked him to walk her to her hotel room and tried to seduce him. It was also the night his fiance, Paula Stevens, was kidnapped. After Paula was home safe, Gabi showed up and claimed to be Paula’s sister much to Ricardo’s shock. Gabi had nasty plans for Paula because she feels their father always loved Paula more and Paula had a better life. Her main mission was to break up Ricardo and Paula and win him for herself to spite her sister.
She became invovled with DJ Mark Wolper. When Gabi accused Ricardo of rape, Mark did everything he could to protect her from Ricardo. In the end, everyone found out that Ricardo didn't rape Gabi, she was really re-living the time when her father raped her. When Mark was killed at Terror Island, Gabi found comfort in Casey Mitchum. Since then she's been spending time with Ricardo and getting to know his brother Antonio.
