Brief Character History: Gregory is your basic corrupt wealthy businessman. He is always up to something, whether it's trying to kill Cole or blackmail someone, he always has an enemy he wants to take care of. Gregory has hated Cole Deschanel, his daughter Caitlin's husband, from day one. He would do anything to break them apart, including having some of Cole's former lovers come to town. The only person who can manipulate Gregory is his daughter, Caitlin. He would do anything for her, she's "daddy's little girl." He doesn't get along with his son, Sean, too well. There is always something coming between them for them to hate each other. He doesn't really get along with his wife, Olivia, either. They have come close to getting a divorce several times. Now that Olivia's baby was still-born, Gregory blames Olivia. Gregory is someone nobody in Sunset Beach wants to mess with. Annie Douglas took it upon herself to break up Gregory and Olivia. She succeeded and then married Gregory.
