Brief Character History: Olivia was the wealthy wife to Gregory Richards. She is also a recovering alcoholic. She had an affair with her now son-in-law, Cole Deschanel. Her daughter, Caitlin, who married Cole does not know about the affair. Olivia became pregnant and did not know if the father of her baby was her husband or Cole. Caitlin, who was Cole's girlfriend at the time, also became pregnant. When Olivia and Caitlin got into a car accident, Caitlin lost her baby. Caitlin felt that if she told Cole she lost the baby, he would leave her. That's when Annie Douglas came in, she drugged Olivia and stole her baby to give to Caitlin. Caitlin does not know that she is raising her mother's child. Olivia was told that her baby was still-born, but Olivia does not believe her baby is dead. A.J. came back to Sunset Beach and has been helping Olivia try to remember what happened the day she gave birth to her baby and he has been helping her through her divorce with Gregory.
