My birthday: May 4, 1980. That would make me 18.

Family: Parents; Ted & Shari, sisses; Bree (15), Anna (5), Bethy (3) and my bro, Jason (13).

Where I hail from: A little town in central Illinois.

My school: Heritage Christian High School. It's actually a home school, we just gave it a fancy name. I've been homeschooled all my life, and I just graduated!.

My pets: I have a golden retreiver, Kallie, and 2 cats: Gizmo & Speedy Spot.

The most important thing in my life is Jesus Christ. I don't know where I would be without Him. He gives my life meaning and I'm so thankful that I can always count on Him.

Stuff that keeps me busy.....

Music!!! Some of these artists you probably haven't heard of but here goes anyway: Newsboys, Point of Grace, Rebecca St. James, The Supertones, Hanson, Backstreet Boys, John Tesh, Newsies soundtrack, other soundtracks, Jars of Clay, DC Talk and various instrumental.
I also love to sing! I sing in two choirs, one is an Honors choir, in which I sing soprano. The other is a children's choir and there I sing harmony or the alto part. I'm also taking voice lessons. I sing just because I love to!

I love my country and so I do my part by being involved in politics. I've been helping with political campaigns since I was 10 or so, partly to help my dad out, but now as I get older, I'm realizing that, as our nation declines morally, more people need to become involved in the political process. So, those of you who can, get out there and VOTE! Okay, enough of my little spiel....

I'm also active in 4-H. I've been a 4-H member since I was 8 and I really enjoy it. The projects I'm taking this year are Genealogy, Stamp Collecting and Counted Cross-Stitch. Last year, one of my cross stitch pictures went to the Illinois State Fair and now it's in the National 4-H Center in Washington D.C.! Sorry if I'm bragging, but I think it's really cool!

I love history and one of my hobbies is genealogy. You know, family tree research. I love the mystery of it all, especially when I get close to finding a new source of info or a new relative. One of these days, I'm gonna put all my family tree info on a web page but I have enough to do keeping up with this one..... So far, I've figured out that my roots are half English, part German, part French with a little Scottish and Native American thrown in. I'm an ethnic smorgasboard!

My odd hobby: I sew historical costumes for fun. I love history and I've always loved playing dress-up, so the logical thing to do was to make me some kewl costumes. Yes, I'm gonna make me a Newsie costume! There's a pic of most of them on my pics page.
