hey peeps! guess what?!?!? us, UH, won #2 ranked KANSAS!!!! (click HERE 2 view the tournament bracket.) maybe NOW we will b recognized as one of the nation's top teams! It was just an awesome game...u had 2 have saw it. The Helicopter, Erin Galloway (#00), did this MAJOR awesome block...and i missed it =(. my dad and brother saw it, though, and thought it was SOOOOO awesome...the game was REALLY close toward the beginning, but toward the end of the second half, we kinda pulled away w/ the lead. i was sooo happy!! my dad and i were all clapping and cheering. i even watched ESPN SportsCenter after the game, and they thought this game was awesome, 2. all of the announcers liked A.C. Carter (#23). They showed a lot of his gr8 plays. also, Alika Smith (#20) and Eric Ambrozich (#34), were both having a gr8 day, 2. the only sad part of the game was when Micah (Kroeger, #13) fouled out w/ about 4 (?) min. left of the game...but then, as he fouled out, he gave each player on the court (and Casey Cartwright [#21], who came in 4 him,) some words of wisdom, advice, and/or encouragement. That probably helped the team make it's lead grow even higher. a big *yay* 2 micah! whatever u said...we thank u...=)

if ya r a HUGE men's vball fan like me in '97, then u should all remember that BYU game. (u know which one i'm talking about...) As i was surfing the net last year, i came across a page (it doesn't exist n-e-more...darn!) which i thought was so hilarious and cute. here is what the page had said:

Anyone who puts up with suck obsessive fans deserves SOMETHING.

That Outrigger Hotels thingie screwed up the entire season. (it exhausted them right before their first road trip from hell)
The altitude (I don't really understand this one, but the commentators kept mentioning it)
