I just got the first two videos from the Lending Library. They arrived in the mail today. The pilot (Mirrors) and North of the Border & Houston's Hero. Oh, they were great! I can't wait till I can order the next two videos ASAP. MP is so great as Joey. He's smart, take, charge, no baloney from anyone. I laughed my head off when him & Levon got into their first fist fight and ended up laughing. If that isn't just like a guy thing. That was funny. Can't wait to see the next few episodes. They can't arrive quick enough for me. Thanks Gretchen for making a list of the episodes as they appeared by name and a summary of each one. That was real helpful!

I'm ashamed to say that I've hardly been thinking of this show for a couple of years ... not until tonight's odyssea on the web. I enjoyed HK a lot when it was broadcast in Finland in '88-'89 (the Finnish title, "Kaupunkicowboyt", meant "City Cowboys"). I there a similar page for Hollywood Beat somewhere around?

I think Michael's so neat, I noticed him after hoping to meet a guy 2&1/2 years older, & then another "Mike" (I liked one for awhile) It's weird but I sent a letter at his other site and knew he got it(!)(you think I'm weird) You know how you get strong feelings 'for no reason' that turn out to be right? hi mercury thanks for mailing me back! many homepages have a postcardservice so you can mail pics that you dont have by yourself. it means that you (mercuy) have pics at your postcardservice, i can click them, write a little message and mail them to a friend. the "postage" is payed by a sponsor who maybe has his banner or a little ad at the site of the card-service. a site of the card-service looks like your guestbook while signing it but it includes the pics (postcards). hope i could helped you (my english istn`t very good) cu. birte

Dear Mercury: Just noticed your HK page--can't believe anyone still remembers the show. I used to watch it all the time as I consider myself the all-time Michael Beck fan. Even joined his fan club, but it was kind of a dud. I paid for a year's members ip and received a membership package and never heard from it again. I guess he is too obscure for a fan club, although that is the kind of actor that make a fan club valuable so we can know what they are appearing in. Anyway, liked your page!!!
