The Road Less Traveled...
After two moderately tedious and mostly frustrating years of medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine, I have taken a year off in search of a better way to make a living.  I first blanketed the country with resumes in the hopes of getting a writing job.  Unfortunately, most newspapers and magazines wanted someone with a little more experience than just sixteen columns.  So I have since turned my attention towards getting some stories published while looking for a human resources position, because I really ought to put my psychology degree to work somehow right?
I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a minor in religion.  I'm still trying to figure out what I plan to do with all that, but I'm young and I've got time.  I initially went to medical school as part of a desire to help people on a daily basis.  Now, I'm really just looking for a career that I can enjoy and pays the bills while I write.
