I had an amazing time, even though the weather was so hot and humid (and I never even saw the sun!). There were some places where when it rained, it poured and flooded the streets. Trust me, Los Angeles summers are nothing compared to the weather there.
I was in Beijing and then went along the Yangtze River to the Three Gorges Dam.
Ultimately, it was not just the places that I went to; I have to give props to the people I went with. This was a reunion of the China Synergy Program I went on four years ago, but it was more like meeting new people. But you know how living with the same seventeen people for ten days -- seeing each other for all meals, hanging out at all events, getting on each other's nerves, pet peeves revealed, etc -- can do to a group. We truly became a family and I would not change a thing about our experience.
