Kiss: MTV Unplugged

Released 1995
Directed by Joe Perota

As a musician I've always known how well KISS are respected among other musicians, and you can really see their talent shine here. When this show was first run on MTV, I was in heaven. Then Peter and Ace joined the band on stage, and I was completely floored. To see them rejoin Paul and Gene for the first time in over a decade was magical, but to also see them playing with Bruce and Eric Singer was mind-blowing. All of the MTV unplugged shows are exciting, but this is by far the best. Watch the DVD (which has excellent behind-the-scenes footage leading up to the show) then buy the CD!
