"I always knew I wanted to act", said
Kate Jackson. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Kate left home to study
at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Following graduation,
she was cast as 'Daphne' in "Dark Shadows". When the series concluded,
Kate headed for Hollywood where she continuously worked in episodic television
and landed on the big screen in the movie version of "Dark Shadows". Soon
after, Kate was cast in the Spelling and Goldberg production of "The Rookies".
Kate portrayed the character, 'Jill Danko' for four years.

Kate followed with yet another Spelling
and Goldberg production, "Charlie's Angels". Kate portrayed the intellectual,
Pinto driving 'Sabrina Duncan' for three of the shows five year run. After
her departure, Kate went on to star in the groundbreaking film "Making
Love", which was the first major film to deal openly and honestly with
the then-taboo issue of homosexuality in a heterosexual marriage. Kate
also took to the stage in "Key Exchange" and "Love Letters". After turning
down many scripts, Kate decided on the role of 'Amanda King' in "The
"Scarecrow and Mrs. King". Her onscreen chemistry with co-star, Bruce Boxleitner,
made the show an instant success that lasted four years. Kate followed
Scarecrow with the short lived sitcom "Baby Boom", based on the hit film,
starring Diane Keaton. Kate continued to work both in television movies;
"Listen to Your Heart", "The Stranger Within", "Quiet Killer", "Adrift"
as well as the big screen; "Loverboy". A survivor of cancer, Kate has spent
the past few years keeping a low profile. Although she has kept herself
busy playing the role of 'Mom' to her adopted son.
