Comments: I especially appreciate the format of the show. I like Touched by an Angel because it's all about helping people. My nature is very altruistic. However, I dislike the mushiness of it. I believe I've met a couple of angels and I don't believe that an angel would say "I am an angel sent by God". He is much more subtle than that! I know that sounds eird, but hey! That's life. I really appreciate the altruistic nature of Jarod. Even though the character's initial reason is perhaps revenge, I prefer to think of it as "someone has to make things right and I can." I really like the fact the Jarod is "tough and caring, caring but tough." I just don't go for the sissy stuff I guess. I only watch one show a week regular. That's the pretender, I guess because I wish I could be one!

Comments: You know, this show reminds me of an old TV show called "The Immortal" which aired for only one season back in the late sixties, early seventies. It was about a 63 year old guy--he looked like 38--who has the potential for an extended lifespan due to a egenerative enzyme in his blood which can be transfused to another person. That person would receive a "new lease on life" just long enough untill the enzyme fades from the bloodstream. The Immortal was persued by an old coger-billionaire who wanted him for himself for eternal safe-keeping.
