This story is an answer to Rhiannon's challenge: namely getting my hero of choice into the position of doing whatever my character wants for 24 hours. <G>

The characters of Alynn, Rhysa and Lysia are used with the permission of their creator. In fact the set up for this story occurs in Rhiannon's story: 'If Daring A God Is Dangerous, What If You Dare A Mortal?' Herk and Iolaus still belong to Universal, Pac Ren, et al.. (unfortunately <sigh>) and no copyright infringement is intended.

This story contains scenes of an adult nature, including graphic sex between a man and a woman. If you are under 18 or if this material is illegal where you live, please go somewhere else.

Alynn sighed and stretched, then reluctantly reached for the bag at her feet and threw it on the cart. 'This is the worst part of the annual trading trip', she thought disgustedly, 'Loading the damn cart for the trip back. At least we're almost done.' She quickly stepped out of the way to allow Rhysa to toss her sack of supplies in. "How many more of these do we have to load?"

"Not many," Rhysa replied as she wiped the sweat from her brow. "A couple more trips each ought to do it."

"Great!" Alynn headed back for another load. "I can't wait to get to the lake so I can take a bath. This heat is miserable." She glanced back at Rhysa as the other woman laughed softly. "What?"

"Oh, nothing." Rhysa's face had a dreamy smile on it. "Just remembering something."

Shaking her head, Alynn bent down and picked up what she fervently hoped would be her final bag. She'd just gotten it securely positioned on her shoulder and had turned towards the cart when someone collided with her. Hard. She staggered and barely managed to keep from dropping the bag. She was vaguely aware that whoever had run into her was now helping her. She quickly took the few steps necessary to reach the cart and toss the bag in before rounding on her assailant.

"Why in Tartarus don't you watch where you're going?" she growled as she turned and then blinked in surprise as she saw the familiar sheepish grin and impish blue eyes. "Iolaus! What are you doing here?"

Iolaus' grin got wider and his eyes twinkled mischievously. "I heard my favorite Amazon was in town and just had to say hello." Before Alynn could say a word he turned and grabbed the unsuspecting Lysia in a big hug and planted a quick kiss on her lips. "Hi, Lysia!"

Lysia struggled to keep hold of the bolt of fabric she was carrying as Iolaus set her back on her feet. "Hi, Iolaus, nice greeting." She quickly placed the fabric in the cart before turning back to Iolaus. "You really need to work on your technique a bit though." Then before Iolaus could react she pulled him forward and proceeded to demonstrate exactly what she meant.

When Lysia finally broke the kiss Alynn couldn't help laughing at Iolaus' expression. The poor man was thoroughly dazed and seemed to be having a hard time catching his breath. Grinning Lysia winked at Alynn and sauntered back towards the rapidly shrinking pile of supplies. The hand sign she tossed after her had Alynn doubled over in laughter as she signed her agreement and thanks. Iolaus was definitely 'warmed up' now.

"Wow!" Iolaus' breathless comment nearly set her off again but Alynn managed to control herself though she couldn't stop the grin that plastered itself across her face.

"Iolaus?"

Alynn had barely opened her mouth to try to get Iolaus' attention when they both heard the call from the crowded square. To her surprise Iolaus jumped and with a nervous glance over his shoulder, grabbed her arm and hurried her out of sight between two of the buildings. Curious, Alynn allowed him to lead her a short distance away from the noise of the street before turning and demanding to know what was going on.

Iolaus glanced nervously at the entrance to the small alley before answering, "I need your help, Alynn."

"MY help?" Alynn sputtered in surprise. "The famous Iolaus, best friend and partner of the great Hercules needs MY help? Why not ask Hercules?"

Iolaus blushed and looked a bit sheepish as he told her, "I already did."

"And?" Alynn prompted when he didn't seem inclined to continue.

Iolaus shrugged, not meeting her gaze. "He laughed."

"Hercules laughed?" This had to be good Alynn realized. "Ok, Iolaus, what have you gotten yourself into now?" She could see that Iolaus was trying to figure out just how little he could get away with telling her. "If you want my help, you'd better tell me the whole story," she warned.

Iolaus sighed; one look at Alynn told him he'd have to tell nothing less than the whole truth in order to convince her to help. "You remember a couple of months ago I told you about the woman in Plenth who was after me?" Alynn nodded, a faint blush staining her cheeks as she remembered what else had occurred between them at that time. Iolaus didn't seem to notice as he continued, "I thought she had given up but a few days ago I spotted her in Deimos. When I heard her asking about me I left as fast as I could. I was supposed to meet up with Herc in Themos so I thought I'd just get there a bit early."

"So what happened?"

"What happened? She showed up in Themos!" Iolaus was getting a bit agitated.

Alynn clamped down hard on the urge to giggle at his predicament. "And that's when you told Hercules?"

"Yeah," Iolaus agreed, distractedly running one hand through his hair. "Luckily Herc was already waiting for me when I got there. I managed to sneak into the room he'd gotten and was telling him what was going on when SHE showed up at his door."

"Uh oh." Alynn couldn't control the slight snicker at the hunter's woebegone expression but sobered quickly as he glared at her. "What happened then?"

Iolaus sighed. "Herc managed to convince her that I had gone on to Corinth to wait for him and she left. I figured that as long as I didn't go to Corinth for a while I'd manage to shake her."

"That seems a reasonable assumption," Alynn agreed, "but how did you end up here with her after you again? And where is Hercules?"

"Herc had to go to Corinth." Iolaus was clearly exasperated. "His brother Iphicles needed his help to keep a war from breaking out. I don't know why he had to tell her to go there too!"

"It was probably the first place that came to mind, Iolaus," Alynn tried to sooth him so she could get the rest of the story from him. Though it was beginning to feel like pulling teeth. She sighed and once more prompted him to continue, "So you decided to come here?"

"Well, no, not exactly," Iolaus admitted. "I was thinking of going fishing again and just happened to pass through this town on my way." The devilish twinkle was back in his eyes leaving Alynn no doubt just what kind of 'fishing' he'd hoped to do.

"Uh huh. So, go on." Alynn wasn't about to let him know how much that idea appealed to her, at least not before she heard the last part of this story and found out just exactly what help he wanted from her.

Iolaus started pacing as he told her how he had been quietly buying supplies for his trip when the woman snuck up on him. "She was all over me, Alynn. I didn't want to hurt her or cause a scene that might embarrass her, so I.. well.. I kind of.. lied to her."

"YOU lied to her??" Alynn couldn't stop the giggles this time and quickly raised a hand to stifle them. "What in the world did you tell her?" Alynn blinked in surprise as Iolaus blushed at her question. 'This has GOT to be good,' she thought to herself.

"I.. well.. I.. you see.. I kind of.. well.. I told her.." Iolaus stumbled over his answer his face flushing even more.

"Come on, Iolaus, spit it out. What did you tell her?"

Iolaus wouldn't meet her eyes as he shifted around trying to get the words out. "ItoldherIwascommittedtosomeoneelse." The words finally came out in a rush, all jumbled together and at first Alynn wasn't sure she'd heard correctly.

"Let me get this straight, you told her you were in love with someone else?" As Iolaus nodded, she continued, "and you thought that would get her to leave you alone?"

"Well, yeah.."

Alynn grinned, she didn't think things had worked out quite as he had hoped. "And her reaction?"

Iolaus threw his hands in the air and began pacing again. "She told me it didn't matter! That she would make me forget any other women!"

"Alright, I can see you have a problem, Iolaus, but I still don't see what that has to do with me." Actually Alynn now had a very good idea of the kind of help Iolaus wanted from her, but after all the time she'd spent trying to get the man to notice her existence she couldn't resist making him squirm a bit. If he wanted her help he was going to have to ask her.

Squirm was just what Iolaus was doing. He'd hoped that she would get the idea and volunteer to help him without his having to ask. Now he would have to admit the rest of it. "Well, I.. I.. t-told her that the woman I was committed to was.. was.. an Amazon." He blurted out; stumbling a bit as her expression grew remote.

"You told this woman, IN PUBLIC, that you had an Amazon lover?" Iolaus felt his heart sink at the soft emotionless words.

"Well, yeah,"he admitted, trying to put as much pathos as possible in his gaze as he met her eyes. The cold dispassionate stare that met his look did nothing to reassure him. "I'm sorry, Alynn, it was the only thing I could think of." He sighed. "I thought she'd be scared enough of the Amazons to leave me alone." He hung his head, absently digging at the ground with one booted toe as he finished, "I'm really sorry. I guess I should have thought about it more before I said anything."

Alynn had to fight to keep the glare on her face. Iolaus looked like a little kid; afraid that he'd really messed things up and anxiously awaiting a scolding. "It didn't work did it?" she asked quietly.

"No, she said she'd protect me from the Amazons." Alynn hadn't thought it was possible but somehow Iolaus managed to look even more sheepish at that admission. Alynn let Iolaus worry about her reaction as she quickly thought things through. What he'd done was not good, and certainly something the Amazons actively discouraged. She knew of several of her sisters who would be quick to hand out punishment to any man who dared to brag of having an Amazon lover. She didn't think Iolaus knew how lucky he'd been to run into her before one of the others heard about the incident. Now the problem was how to deal with it.

"Please, Alynn, I need your help," Iolaus' plea broke into her thoughts. "I'll do anything you want but please help me get rid of this woman."

"Anything?" The word sparked several intriguing ideas.

Iolaus' head came up and he met her eyes as he solemnly repeated, "Anything. Just name it."

"Ok, Iolaus, here's the deal." Alynn's smile wasn't totally pleasant. "I'll be your 'Amazon lover' and scare this woman off, but in return you will be mine for 24 hours."

"24 hours?!?!" Iolaus yelped startled.

"Yes, for 24 hours you will do anything I say. That's the deal, Iolaus, take it or leave it." Alynn watched as Iolaus hesitated, conflicting emotions chasing themselves across his face. 'One more little push ought to do it,' she thought and started to head back to the street. "I don't have anymore time to spare, Iolaus, so make your decision. The others are waiting for me."

She'd only taken a couple of steps when Iolaus burst out, "All right, it's a deal."

Turning she grinned at him. "Good, wait here while I let the others know what's going on."

Iolaus sat down on a nearby crate and watched Alynn leave, wondering if he might have just gone from the frying pan to the fire. He didn't have much time to wonder what she had in store for him though as he spotted her hurrying back to him. 'Oh, well, it can't be all that bad,' he thought to himself. 'And anything is better than being chased all over Greece.' The memory of the last time the two had spent a lot of time together flickered through his mind and he started to smile. 'On second thought, this may turn out better than I'd hoped.' He grinned at Alynn as she came up to him, his thoughts already leaping ahead to what they would do later.

Alynn noticed the grin and for a moment she wondered what he was planning, then she recognized the clear signs of arousal and realized just what he thought he was going to be doing as payment for her help. 'Are you in for a surprise, Iolaus,'she thought to herself and had to conceal a wicked grin. Schooling her face not to betray her thoughts she coolly ordered him to follow her. "The others know what's going on and they are going to play along with this. In return, you are going to help us finish loading the cart."

"But.." Iolaus protested, "she will see me!"

Alynn laughed. "That's the idea." She raised one eyebrow at him as he frantically shook his head. "You didn't think you'd get rid of her without seeing her again did you?"

"Well, yeah, I had hoped.." Iolaus admitted.

Shaking her head Alynn just grinned at him. "You asked for Amazon help, Iolaus. We do things our own way. Now come on and whatever happens just go along with it."

A bit dazed and decidedly curious Iolaus followed Alynn back to the cart. He was greeted with knowing smiles from several of the Amazons but no one said anything. Alynn pointed out the remaining supplies waiting to be loaded and he went to work. He was decidedly flustered when he realized that all of the Amazons were standing around watching him and he couldn't help the flush that crept up his neck when one of them made a comment about his ass when he bent to pick up a crate. He opened his mouth to say something but caught a warning look from Alynn and reluctantly let it pass. By the time he finished loading the last of the supplies on the cart his face was bright red and he was heartily regretting asking Alynn for help. The regret didn't last long.

The only warning he had was a shriek "Iolaus!" and then a woman's body was plastered to him. Her arms were locked around his waist and she was covering his face with kisses.

"Lucinda!" he gasped trying desperately to disentangle himself. "Please, you really need to let go. This isn't a good idea." He was so focused on getting the woman off of him that he totally forgot about the Amazons until Alynn's voice broke through his concentration.

"Get your hands off of my man!" Alynn gave the words her most threatening growl as she grabbed the woman's arms and pulled her forcefully away from Iolaus.

Sputtering the woman started to argue with Alynn, then got a good look at just who she was confronting. Alynn watched as the woman took note of her Amazon garb and made a point of resting her hand on the long knife sheathed at her waist. The woman's eyes widened as they took in the knife and she realized that Alynn was prepared to use it. Alynn silently gave the woman credit for courage if not brains as she stuttered, "W-who are you? W-what do you mean?" Alynn bared her teeth in a cold smile and stalked towards Iolaus who was slumped against the cart in relief.

"Let me make this quite clear." Iolaus' eyes flew open as Alynn kissed him but before he could begin to respond she drew back. Running one hand down his chest she suddenly brought the other up to grab his codpiece. He jumped and gasped but she ignored him and turned back to Lucinda, her hand still clutching him possessively. "Lover boy here is mine until I say otherwise." Iolaus flushed as he realized that Lucinda's eyes were now riveted to his crotch and there was little he could do to hide the effect that Alynn's hand was having on him. He flushed even more as he saw that their little confrontation had drawn quite a crowd of onlookers.

Satisfied she'd made her point, Alynn released Iolaus and stalked towards the woman, prepared to send the rest of the lesson home. "I do not take kindly to someone trying to lay claim to my property."

The woman paled and began to back away from her babbling, "I'm sorry. Don't hurt me. I didn't know."

"Are you saying that Iolaus is the one who instigated this?" Alynn glared at the woman, deliberately tightening her hand on her knife. The woman backed up a few more steps and jumped when she realized the body she'd backed into was another Amazon.

Rhysa grinned down at the woman. "I'd answer her if I were you. The last time this happened she took it pretty badly when the woman lied about her lover." Rhysa leaned forward conspiratorially and spoke just loud enough that the watching crowd had to strain their ears to overhear, "All in all, the woman involved came out better than he did though." Rhysa didn't think the woman could get any paler without fainting. "At least she still had all her working parts." The woman moaned frantically looking around for some way out. Rhysa had stopped paying attention to her as Iolaus paled and gulped audibly. Satisfied that she'd done her part in driving home the point they were trying to make Rhysa stepped back into the circle of Amazons and left Alynn to finish the job.

Alynn didn't waste any time. Grabbing the now terrified girl by one arm she pulled Lucinda close and hissed, "Well girl? Did he betray me with you?"

Shaking the girl managed to stutter out an answer. "N-n-no. P-p-please. We didn't.. he didn't.. I-I mean.."

Sensing she couldn't push the girl much farther and expect to get a coherent answer Alynn released her arm. "And did he tell you he belonged to me?"

Rubbing her arm the girl finally looked up. "Y-yes. B-b-but I d-didn't believe him."

Alynn stared at the girl until Lucinda once more dropped her eyes. "Alright." She reached out and grabbed the girls' chin, forcing Lucinda to meet her gaze once more. "Listen to me closely little girl and heed my words. I'll let it go this time." Alynn glared at her as the girl sighed in relief. "BUT.. if I hear even a rumor that you've been anywhere near him.. well.. let's just say I won't stop to ask questions. Understand me?"

Bobbing her head in agreement the girl quickly backed away as Alynn released her. "Y-yes. Don't worry. I won't get near him again. I-I p-promise. Th-thank you."

Alynn watched as the girl vanished into the gathered crowd and had to fight to hide her grin. She'd definitely kept her side of the bargain. She doubted the girl would ever voluntarily get within a day's walk of Iolaus again. "A-Alynn?" Iolaus' voice reminded her that there was still one last show to put on and she turned to glare at him.

She saw the wariness in his gaze as she stalked back over to him. "You," she growled as he backed up against the cart. "That girl had better have been telling the truth," she warned him as she trapped him against the cart. "Cause if I ever find out you betrayed me with her.. or anyone else.." She dropped her hand once more to his crotch and squeezed; telling him without words exactly what she would do to him.

Iolaus gulped and nodded his mind whirling. This was not what he thought would happen when he asked Alynn for help and he had to wonder just how serious she was. The pressure she'd applied to his manhood was just short of painful and the look in her eyes did not bode well for him. When she finally stepped back and released him he couldn't stop the sigh of relief and flushed as he heard their audience laugh. "Now get in the cart. We've wasted enough time on this little incident." Iolaus started to protest her order. "Not one word, Iolaus," she warned him. "Just get in the cart and keep your mouth shut until I say otherwise." Her glare reminded him of their bargain and he stifled a groan as he capitulated. The other Amazons leaped into action as he climbed aboard and Iolaus found himself sitting down with a jolt as the cart moved under him. He yelped in painful surprise and turned to give the driver an earful but stopped as he caught Alynn's eyes on him. Silently cursing his luck, he settled back and wondered what he'd let himself in for. Well, whatever happened, Alynn had kept her word now it was time for him to keep his.

Alynn felt her heart melt whenever she looked at Iolaus slumped on top of the supplies. She regretted having to be so harsh with him, even more she regretted the embarrassment she'd been forced to cause him. 'But it's better than what would have happened to him if Talyn or Mira had had their way,' she reminded herself. Those two had been all set to meet out a very thorough and very harsh punishment immediately and it had taken a bit of convincing to get them to let her handle the situation her way. She glanced over at Mira walking beside her and the other Amazon flashed her the hand sign for approval. 'Good. If Mira is satisfied Talyn should be as well.' Alynn acknowledged the sign already planning her next moves. 'There shouldn't be any objections to my leaving the group with Iolaus in a few hours. And then…' Alynn's thoughts drifted off in memories of the last time she'd had Iolaus alone.

Iolaus had given up all thoughts of the pleasant time he'd expected to enjoy with Alynn and was just trying to get comfortable and endure the ride when the little group stopped. Sitting up he saw Alynn and most of the Amazons speaking quietly a bit ahead of the cart. He couldn't catch a word of what they were saying though and was surprised when Alynn broke away from the group and headed back to him. "Get down from there, Iolaus."

She was no longer growling or glaring at him so he decided to risk a question as he scrambled down. "What.."

"I thought I told you to be quiet until I said you could speak."

There was a slight note of exasperation in her voice, which he decided to ignore. "Well, yeah but.."

"No buts, Iolaus," Alynn interrupted him. "Keep quiet until I tell you."

Iolaus sighed and shut up. 'So much for things looking up,' he thought ruefully.

Alynn went to the back of the cart where the Amazons had stored their personal gear and retrieved her bedroll and a small pack. Tossing the items to Iolaus she peremptorily ordered him to follow her. With a wave at the rest of the group and a wink at Lysia she set off down a small trail that branched from the main road. She heard the sounds of Iolaus scrambling after her and then those of rest of the Amazons moving on. She kept up her quick pace until they were well away from the road and could no longer hear any sounds from it. She decided they were safely out of range and it was a good time to take a break when they came to a little stream across the trail. "Alright, Iolaus, we'll stop here for a bit and you can ask all your questions."

Iolaus sighed with relief as he dropped the gear and joined Alynn at the stream. He heard Alynn giggle as he dunked his entire head in the cool water. Sitting up, he pushed the wet hair out of his face and looked at her. Her slight smile encouraged him and he tried to think of where to begin. 'Start at the beginning, Iolaus, that's what Herc always says,' he reminded himself. "Alynn, I know I asked for your help.. but why..?" He couldn't think of how to ask what he wanted to know without offending her and was relieved when she seemed to understand.

"Why did we humiliate you?" At his nod Alynn sighed. "I thought you'd want to know." She looked away for a moment and then turned back. "Because you'd bragged Iolaus."

"Bragged?!?! I never..!!" he started to protest but she held up a hand to silence him and then continued.

"You told that woman in public that you had an Amazon lover."

"Well, yeah but that's not.."

"To some of my sisters it would be, Iolaus. And it's not just them.. some men would consider that a boast as well." Alynn sighed again, she could see that Iolaus still didn't get the point. "Look, you know how much time and effort we have to spend guarding our territory from men who see us as weaker or easy prey just because we are women." As Iolaus nodded she continued, "Well, what would happen if men boasted about taking an Amazon for a lover? If they talked of having one of us as easily as they did any other woman?"

She saw the light break in his face as he answered, "That could cause trouble."

"Could and probably would," she confirmed. "We have enough to do without having to keep watch for any man thinking to prove his manhood by taking an Amazon. So we are careful to choose our lovers from those we trust to be discrete."

"And what happened to me back in town?" Iolaus questioned.

"Was our way of making anyone who'd heard you think twice about wanting an Amazon lover." She could tell Iolaus wasn't totally satisfied with the explanation and she gave him the rest of it. "It was also a punishment for you."

"Punishment!!" Iolaus was outraged.

"I'm sorry, Iolaus, but it had to be done. The whole thing was my idea," she admitted quietly.

"You're idea?!?!" Iolaus couldn't believe it. He'd thought she'd cared about him.

"I do, Iolaus."

The soft words made him realize he'd spoken his thoughts out loud and he turned to glare at her, demanding, "Then how could you suggest something like that?"

"Because it was better than the alternative." Alynn shrugged. "I couldn't think of any other way to get you out of the traditional punishment."

"Traditional punishment?" Iolaus was beginning to feel like an echo.

"You don't want to know, Iolaus. Let's just say it's very painful and leave it at that, ok?"

Iolaus had no doubts that whatever the 'traditional punishment' was, it would be very unpleasant. Much more so than the humiliation he'd suffered today. So, she'd humiliated him. She didn't look like she'd enjoyed the experience. He decided to chalk the whole thing up to experience and see if they couldn't enjoy the rest of their time together.

"So, Alynn, where to now?" he asked as he picked up their gear.

He smiled as she looked up at him in surprise. "You're staying?"

"Of course. We made a bargain remember?" Iolaus held out his hand and pulled her to her feet. "I always keep my word." He grinned encouragingly at her and she smiled tentatively back at him.

"Thank you, Iolaus."

"Anything for you, my lady." He bowed theatrically and she laughed. "Now, where are we going?"

Alynn grinned, grateful he'd forgiven her. "It's a surprise," she told him. "Just follow me. If we hurry we can make it before dark."

Iolaus whistled as they emerged from the trees to find themselves on a small hill overlooking a deep blue lake. The late afternoon sun sparkled off the water invitingly and Alynn sighed. "I've been dreaming of this place all day! Follow me, Iolaus, there's a perfect place to camp just over this way." Without waiting for a reply Alynn took off down the hill, her eagerness to get to the lake apparent. Iolaus laughed at her enthusiasm and followed more slowly. He watched as she disappeared around the corner of the hill. Things were definitely looking better than they had earlier.

'Oh yes, things are definitely looking up!' Iolaus grinned as he came around the corner and spotted Alynn again. She had already removed her boots and her top and was in the process of kicking off her skirt. She finished disrobing just as he reached her side and with a laughing taunt over her shoulder headed for the water. "Last one in washes the others' back!"

"No fair!" he shouted after her as he scrambled to remove his own clothing. "You had a head start!" Her only reply was laughter as she splashed knee deep into the water before diving in. With some half hearted grumbling Iolaus finished removing his clothing and followed her.

The cool water felt marvelous against her skin, washing away the dirt and sweat of the days' labors. Alynn smiled to herself when she heard the splash as Iolaus joined her. She had been so afraid that he would leave her earlier and she wouldn't have blamed him. Instead he had chosen to come with her and by the terms of their bargain he was hers to do with as she would until the next day. Alynn felt the fire starting to lick in her veins as she thought of what she would do with him and turned to smile at him as he surfaced beside her. "Well, Iolaus, I believe you owe me a backwash."

Iolaus groaned in frustration as he watched Alynn walk out of the lake, the woman was determined to drive him mad he was sure of it. He'd thoroughly enjoyed washing her back and was sure she'd enjoyed it as well but when he started to wash more than her back, she'd stopped him. She'd ordered him to just watch as she finished the job. He'd never thought that watching someone bathe could be so arousing but by the time Alynn finished, he was breathing hard and it took all his self-control not to grab her and let his hands follow the path of the sponge. He hadn't thought he could get any harder until she had turned her attention and her sponge on him. He'd nearly come in her hands by the time she had reached for his genitals and began to bathe him there. Then, just when he thought he couldn't take any more, she'd announced she was finished and told him to catch them some dinner. "Fish, Iolaus," he muttered to himself. "Get your mind on fish and maybe you'll survive this. Though once the 24 hours is over…"

Iolaus would have felt much better about things if he'd known that Alynn was feeling just as frustrated as he was. It had taken every ounce of will power she had not to wrap her legs around his waist and guide his pulsing member into her right there in the water but she had other plans. Though it might be fun to explore the possibilities of making love in the water she wanted to spend the hours she had left in a more thorough and leisurely examination and that required some place a bit more comfortable. She heard Iolaus grumbling as she left the water and smiled to herself. She'd make it up to him later.

By the time Iolaus managed to concentrate enough to catch a fish that would feed the two of them the sun was going down. Alynn watched him wade ashore from her seat near the fire she'd built. His back was to the sun, it halloed him with golden light and turned his tousled curls into a shining crown. Her breath caught at the perfect male beauty of him and she felt the heat building in her loins. "No" the protest was voiced without conscious thought as he set the fish down near the fire and reached for his pants.

"No?" Iolaus was surprised and turned to look at her. 'Surely she doesn't expect me to cook in the nude' he thought and then he took a good look at her expression.

"Leave the damn fish and come here." He grinned as he obeyed her, the huskiness of her voice telling him she had something else in mind besides dinner.

His manhood stirred once more as he felt her heavy lidded gaze running over his body. He settled himself on the blanket beside her. "Is this where you want me?"

He reached out to pull her closer but she caught his hands. "Uh huh.. lie down and keep your hands beside you," she ordered. Curious at what she had in mind, he did as she told him.

Alynn settled herself on her knees and ran her gaze over the feast before her, trying to decide where she wanted to start. For a long moment she simply gazed her fill, imagining all the things she wanted to do. Those tousled golden curls that always made her fingers itch to run through them, the bottomless blue eyes that always seem to have a twinkle in them. Those wonderful mobile lips that could do such marvelous things to her body, along with his tongue and the rest of his mouth. She wanted to see his eyes darken with passion and hear those lips and tongue telling her how much he needed her. He stirred restlessly beneath her gaze and she caught a flash of light from the earring in his ear. Yes, that earring. It winked at her, teasing her. Inviting her to nibble at his ear and then continue a path around the strong column of his throat to the other ear.

Deciding to start from the top and work her way down, Alynn reached out and framed his face with her hands. Ignoring his lips for the moment she leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on each eye before beginning to lick and nibble at his face. By the time she reached his lips he parted them eagerly, his tongue reaching out to tangle with her own. Her fingers tangled in his hair; traced the curve of one ear and he moaned into her mouth. Pulling herself away from the pleasures of his mouth she worked her way towards his ear, worrying the earring between her teeth for a moment before beginning to nibble his earlobe. She felt his body jerk as she licked the soft skin just below the ear and smiled, pleased with his reaction. She continued her exploration, determined to taste and savor every part of him before this night was over.

Iolaus moaned and fought the desire to crush her to him as she slowly worked her way around his neck. He clenched his hands into fists to keep from reaching for her and visiting the same type of magical torment on her. As she reached his other ear and began to nibble and suck, he felt her hands moving on his chest. The light teasing touches driving him wild with longing. He felt her move away and opened his eyes in surprise wondering what she was doing. He had his answer a moment later as he felt her settle across him. Her hot moist core pressing against his engorged member. His hips jerked and he arched against her, his body wordlessly begging entry. A groan was wrenched from him as she undulated her hips, rubbing herself against him, coating his shaft with her juices.

Alynn smiled as another moan was torn from Iolaus' throat. The sight of him, head thrown back, eyes tightly shut, the cords of his neck standing out as he fought to keep control of his reactions was almost enough to send her over the edge herself. The tight bud of one nipple caught her eye and she leaned forward to taste it. As she ran her tongue around one puckered little bud and then drew it lightly between her teeth she heard him gasp. Her gasp joined his as he writhed beneath her but she didn't stop. She ran her hands over his shoulders and down his muscled arms while her mouth continued to divide its attention between his nipples, teasing them with tongue and teeth.

Iolaus couldn't believe she was doing this to him. He wanted to sheath himself in her body so badly it hurt. He could feel his heart pounding in time with the throbbing of his erection. Just when he thought he wouldn't last any longer she left off teasing his nipples and leaned back. He opened his eyes as he felt her gently unclench one of his hands and met her passion-darkened eyes. He watched as she ran her tongue up the inside of his arm and began to suck on his fingers. "Please," he panted, his eyes never leaving hers.

"Please what, Iolaus?" she asked as she removed his finger from her mouth and ran her tongue over the palm of his hand.

She felt his body jerk in reaction and knew that neither of them would be able to resist much longer. She leaned forward, once more rubbing herself against his manhood and repeated her question. "What do you want, Iolaus?"

"You," he gasped, "I want you. Please, Alynn, now!"

She covered his mouth with hers as she lifted herself slightly and reached for him. Then he was sliding into her and there was no more time for thought, only feelings. The fullness of him within her, the feeling of his hips arching beneath her seeking deeper penetration as she ground her hips against him. She could feel the tension in him as the crest loomed over them and she leaned forward to catch his mouth with hers as they hit the peak together.

Iolaus cradled Alynn against him as they both drifted back down to earth. That had been one incredible ride. "Glad you enjoyed it." The low laugh made him aware that he'd once more spoken his thoughts aloud and he laughed.

Absently rubbing one hand down her back he leaned forward and captured her lips for another kiss. "Oh definitely," he assured her as they broke apart.

"Good," Alynn told him, a wicked smile lighting her face. "Because I've only just begun my explorations." As she proceeded to tell him exactly what she had in mind, Iolaus found himself grateful he'd already caught that fish. He didn't think he would be up to catching more by the time Alynn was through.
