    Queen Beryl is the ruler of the Negaverse (Dark Kingdom).  She wanted to rule over all planets during the Silver Millennium, so she decided to use her forces to take over the Moon Kingdom.  Using her generals, the Seven Shadows, and the Negaforce, she completely destroyed the Moon Kingdom.  She was going to kill Princes Serena, bur Prince Darien stopped her. She wanted him to join her, but he said no, so they both were killed. After that, Queen Serenity used the Silver Empyrean Crystal and trapped everyone inside it, and sent them into the future.

    In our time, Queen Beryl was freed and planned on ruling the Earth.  She used her four generals to collect energy for the Negaforce and retrieve the seven rainbow crystals so they could rule the world.  Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts stopped them time and time again.  Queen Beryl put General Jedite in a crystal prison for failing, General Neflite was killed by General Zoycite, she/he/it was killed by Queen Beryl for disobeying, and General Malachite as killed by Sailor Moon. She captured Darien and used him to try to stop Sailor Moon, but he broke free and severely injured her.  She went to the Negaforce for help and it took over her body and gave her more power, and then she battled Princes Serena (Sailor Moon)
and was destroyed along with the Negaverse.
