Books In Short

Have you ever read a great book series, waited for months or even years for the next book to come out, and realized that you couldn't remember what happened in the previous books? And since you didn't have enough time to reread the series, you ended up not buying the latest book? Are simple summaries not enough to refresh your memory?
Fear not! That's why I created "Books In Short," which summarizes by chapter, not by book. It's like rereading the book, only much, much quicker.

The Xanth Series
By Piers Anthony

Book 1: A Spell for Chameleon
Book 2: The Sourse of Magic
Book 3: Castle Roogna
Book 4: Centaur Aisle
Book 5: Ogre, Ogre
Book 6: Night Mare
Book 7: Dragon on a Pedestal
Book 8: Crewel Lye: A Caustic Yarn

The Wheel of Time Series
By Robert Jordan

Book 1: The Eye of the World

These summaries are meant as as a memory refresher, not a substitute for reading in the first place. All the books belong to their respective authors, so please don't take offence. Heck, you should feel honored; I only summarize books if I really like them. And if anything, it will make you books sell better, not worse.

Fiction

A Comedy of Pathetic Errors
By Tyigra and Lioncat84

You can tell this is old because it's about Pokemon. :) My little brother and I collaborated (a rare thing) to write this Fanfiction together. It involves much weirdness (a la Monty Python), bitter Narrators, time travel and (of course) Nappy Hair.

Non-Fiction

A Day at Cedar Cove Feline Conservation Park
May 2000

I wrote this after spending a day voluteering at Cedar Cove, which is located in Louisberg, Kansas. I met Mr. Pottorff for a school thing, "Job Shadow Day," and this is an account of my return visit three months later to help out. Mr. P is a fun guy who loves and understands his big cats, many of which he took in because of foolish people who try to raise them as pets only to realize that a baby tiger will, in fact, grow into an adult tiger. This wasn't written with the intention of being read by the general public, so I didn't explain much, but if someone out there wants to use this as a direct source for a paper or something, feel free. (Tell me if you got an A!)
