The Adventure

Day 1 Monday. The start of the Adventure:

We stopped for lunch three hours into our trip, nothing much happened. Except our group was pretty much being the normal jerks (Like always). The group has three gals (me included) and four guys (not any good ones at that!). It's a fairly good group. And on the hike he hope that we will achieve our goal. To hunt the alltimate 'creature'...the anthroplogie la gorgeous. We're back on the road, most of the gang are either flirting like crazy (damn! they are sooo lame!), annoying the driver or polishing weapons. I'm doing neither, I’m dreaming of my finest catch. The capture, the victory, the settling in party...

I'm watch the landscape zoom by, and the occasional dead animal "Hey! Don't TRY to hit them!" Sorry, men now days. And to think, I’m out here in the wilderness, almost alone except a bunch of freaks with guns and one VERY lonely anthropologie la gorgeous. I grin, he's gonna be mine. MINE! Not Bastet's or Yum's, Loopy's, Judy's or even Kristy's! Mine, all mine. Maybe I’ll share...maybe.... We finally arrive in the middle of nowhere. We've taken about to two steps out of the 4wd and the guys are already complaining "I'm hungry, I wanna go to sleep, I want to kill something" I'm sorry to anyone who might be reading this but it has to be said 'What is it with men today?!'. I grab my pack and turn to my friends "Hey, you guys ready?" the two other girls nod back "Great, let's get going" I start to walk down the animal track, making sure the keys are still in my pocket.

"Wait up! We're aren't ready yet" the three of us turn back, glaring hard at the slow males "Come on already, we want to get to the first camp by night fall" They're finally ready, slowly making their ways towards us, their packs almost hanging off of them. It'd only take a little shove to make them sprawl back, legs swing like a upturned turtle. The two girls beside me chuckle a little and I know they were thinking the same thing. I mean, who wouldn't! They look like turtles! Finally, we're all on our way, trudging through the worn track and mud. It had rained previously, making the ground very wet. After an hour of walking through pure mud, we come along our first clue, in the river.

"What the-" I held up my hand, and my team stopped at a dead halt behind me. I dumped my pack and crept behind a tree, closely followed by the others. And there, floating in the river is our first clue. A jeep, stuck in the rising water with no one inside. "They've been here..." I turned to Angie, who had positioned herself at my neighboring tree "Yep" I turn back to the others, hands on hips "They've been here, trying to cross, which means that they know were here" an evil smile creeps onto my face and i make no attempt to remove it "'This' make's it a 'lot' more fun". All of my companions, minus myself and Angie frown. I sighed, amateurs. "I'll explain when we hit camp. For now, we need to pick up our pace". Everybody reshouldered their packs, feeling the urgency of the situation. And we set off again. I'm careful, they could be spying after all. But that's what makes me so well known, I’m always two steps ahead of them, sometimes even three.

Day 2 Tuesday. The fall:

We set off again as soon as the sun rose, everybody was keen to get going and we were quickly packed up. Once we got moving, we set a good distance between ourselves and our previous camp sight. I paused, something or one was watching me. I glanced to my left and then to my right 'Where were they?'. I glanced down, at the water about nine to eight steep metres below and swallow 'Mental note: Don't fall'. Suddenly, i heard a surprised shout and i turn around. Bam! Something knocks straight into me and before i can grab onto anything, I’m falling. On my way down i can still hear the commotion above me. "Run Danny! Run for the trees!". "Jack! You pushed her! She's falling!" "Leave her, she'll be dead anyway" Then a scrabbling, and an annoyed shout "Damn it Daniel!"

I finally connected with the icy cold winter water. 'Why can't i swim?' i struck out with my arms again but nothing happened. 'My pack!' i reached to my waist but the clip was jammed. 'No! No, no!'. Something just entered the water above me. I can't see it. 'Did Angie come for me? No, she'd freak at getting her hair wet' Who then? A pair of strong arms wrap them selves around my waist and started to pull me towards the surface. I finally broke the surface which was like glass. I sucked in one desperately needed breath, then another. I closed my eyes tightly and shivered, blocking everything else out except my breathing pattern. I was finally placed on solid land on my back and i weakly opened my eyes, blue ones stared intently back. Trying to find words, but only finding a cough, i started to shake hard and cough all the swallowed water out. My rescuer pulled my pack off from my shoulders and then undid my waist buckle, pushing the pack to the side, they gently helped me up to rest on their chest, helping steady my coughing fit.

I finally could breath properly again and i wrapped my arms around my very wet clothes. "Are you injured?" My only response was another small cough which stung, right down my throat to my ribs. "Ohhh..." "I take that as a yes?" i nodded weakly, closing my eyes against the amazing pain that flooded my vision. I felt my back rest move and gently settle me on the rocky ground. "Where?" Still with my eyes closed i croaked out a weak response "My ribs..." my shirt was crudely ripped and my rescuer poked at my left ribs. "Hurt here?" "Yes" "How about here?" "Yep" "And how about here-" "Yes!". "Oh, okay. My best bet is you've cracked them, at the least" "Yah think?" i pulled my eyes open and stared at the person who had pulled me out "Oh god-".

They smiled back and gave me a small wave "Hey there, i think you already know my name, seeing that you've been hunting me for the last few months" i smiled weakly "Look, I’m really sorry about tha-". Daniel waved his hand again and looked back to my exposed ribs, i felt a blush rise and pulled my ripped jacket quickly over them. He looked back up, a grin spreading on his lips "Shy little one, aren't we?" i glared back at him and his grin vanished as i moved to stand. "Don't! You'll only-" i groaned as i leant on the nearest tree for support, Daniel came to stand in front of me, looking very worried "You shouldn't have done that" Man, for some one sooo cute, he sure was a little slow at getting the point.

"Do you think you can walk?" i nodded, nothing, i mean *nothing* could stop me from doing ANYTHING! "Where are my group?" Daniel grabbed my pack and put it onto his own back, water draining from the bottom. "We floated down the river with the current, we'll head to my camp sight, Jack should be there, then we can get you back to your group" i sighed, looked like I’d have to put up with one sexy, wet and drop dead gorgeous anthropologie. Damn. Now, the hard thing was going to be able to keep my hands off of him... i took my first step, and my ankle crumbled underneath me, Daniel jumped forward and caught me just in time. I was wrong, walking was going to be the hardest thing. "It looks a little swollen" A little? A little!! If it were an elephants ankle it would still be out of size!

"Yeh" When did i become so drunk? i sound like a teenager! Oh, i am. "I've got a first aid kit at the camp site, we'll fix you up there" "Just have to get there first..." I frowned, that was going to be hard. "How about you stay put and I’ll go ahead and get it-" "No way, you ain’t gonna leave me behind!" he sighed, realizing I wasn't going to give in. "Come here then" he helped me to stand again and then wrapped an arm around my waist. Great, now i was going to faint, not only from the pain but...Damn! he smells great! We started off, me using him as a human crutch and him helping me with out complaining. We stopped every fifteen minutes, giving me a break to check i had no ribs poking out of my chest and the same with my ankle. And he checked the map, which had luckily been in his pocket and waterproof.

"Drink?" i shook my head "I think I’ve had enough water for one day" he chuckled but still held out the bottle to me. I took it and had a small sip, just to satisfy him. "What's the time?" Somehow, my watch had come off and was now floating, or sinking, towards the ocean. Daniel glanced at his and then at the sun "'bout 2" i nodded and stood carefully. He followed and we started off again. An hour before the sun would set, we reached his camp spot. And much to our disappointment, found the tent and camp sight empty. Daniel helped me over to the dead fire and i sat down, he went towards the only tent and produced a very warm looking blanket, wrapping it around me he muttered something about getting firewood.

I shivered again and buried myself further into the blanket. Weird the way the world works sometimes. Me stuck here with a certain man I’ve been hunting for the past few months and not having a single thing to say, except to giggle like a child. But then again, he was very giggle worthy. He finally returned with an arm load full of wood and set to lighting a fire. Unfortunately he wasn't getting anywhere. I sighed. Men! I carefully got up and sat beside him. "Put another twig here, and a log there, put a firelighter underneath there, yep that's right, now light it". We both sat opposite each other, staring into the blazing fire when Daniel suddenly jumped up. "What's wrong?" he ran to the tent and pulled out something "I forgot about your ankle!". Me too. Oops!

He sat beside he and gestured to the ground. I sighed but still pushed the blanket back, lying back. Daniel cautiously pulled back what was left of my t-shirt and then grabbed a bandage "What are you going?" he glanced up, then back "Strapping your ribs" i frowned but settled back down, letting him wrap the bandage continually around my ribs. I hissed as he pulled it tight, receiving a small apology. Then, he turned to my ankle. That didn't seem as bad as the rest of me, at least that was a serious health upside. He was finally done, with minimum complaining from me and he sat beside in front of the fire.

"Here" he passed me a bar and i frowned "My bag's only got weapons, and a few sleeping bags in it, don't have anything to replace the stuff I’ve already taken" Daniel shrugged and pulled the blanket back over me and claimed half for himself "Don't worry about it, you're eating Jack's stuff". I bit into the bar and groaned. Banana, I hated banana! But I finished it anyway, despite the dislike in Jack's taste of bar rations. I finally got sick of the silence "What are you and Jack doing out here anyway?" Daniel shrugged "They wanted me to get, how did they put it, 'out and about, into the world of nature'" i chuckled and cradled my ribs to stop the following pain "Why?" "Just curious". That was pretty much it for that night. Daniel and I settled down in the only tent, me a little bit more cautious. After all, i didn't know if he turned into an Ax murderer each night, or a werewolf to howl at the moon. But finally the cold hit me hard and I curled up to his chest. After all, I had no choice... *g*.

Day 3 Wednesday. A long day of Travel:

I hated him! It was now very official. He'd gotten me up before the sun came up, pushed me out into the cold while he got changed and then forbidden a fire 'It might attract animals, and anyway, it'll take to long to pack away'. Well, that's what he'd said. And him being the master of the bush and all, got his way. I hated him sooo much, everything about him...except for his head, and maybe his butt, or how about the top part only, but then again, we can't forget the lower half... So here we were, trudging threw the busy again, me hating him and him being silent, knowing I hated him. I felt kinda bad, seeing as he had saved me and all but hell! I felt like crap and probably looked it to. And I just didn’t care enough to try to heal his hurt feelings. I guess it didn’t help the situation when I told him to go jump in the river and make sure he met up with some mutant killer sea bees.

"Do you want to take a break? You're looking a little pale…" I chose that moment in time to faint. But only for a second for Daniel easily plucked me from my fall and placed me carefully against a tree. After he'd ditched his pack he framed my face with his hands "Can you see me?" Who wouldn't?! "Yea...yeah" he nodded and grabbed his water bottle and put it to my lips. I let my head roll to one side, not letting the water go into my mouth. I closed my eyes and tried to force the pain away. "Hey, you there, stay with me" i let my mind shut down and block out his worried but persistent voice and let my self sercumb to the comforting darkness.

When I came back to the real world I felt my self floating. Morphine, it had to be morphine. I forced my eyes open and looked around dully. Nope not morphine, I was actually floating. "Am I dead?" I heard a chuckle come from above me and I looked up. Daniel looked down and shook his head "Nope, not the last time I checked" "I...I can walk..." he shook his head again "You'll just faint again, stay put, we're almost there" He wasn't going to give in but it was worth a try. "Thankyou" he stayed silent and I closed my eyes and listened to the beating of his heart which was by my left ear. I'd chosen good company.

I guess I’ll have to take back all that stuff about hating him now, bummer. I felt myself being set down carefully and I reopened my eyes, craning my neck I could see Daniel opening my pack, pulling out the contents, some wet and some dry. And some from our/his last camp. I let him pull up the tent, knowing that if I tried, I’d collapse again. And that hurt, a little to much for my liking. I couldn't help but smile as he grinned back at me triumphantly, as he finished with the tent and moved to the fire. City boy my arse...no, city boy 'his' arse. After he had gotten a fire going he started to tip out all the contents from his and the rest of my own pack. Making piles, food, blankets, clothing. His head shot up and pulled out one of his black shirts.

"Here you go" I took it and looked back up at me "Excuse me…" "Yes?". He blushed as he got my drift and quickly turned around "Sorry". I couldn't hold back the chuckle that came. He was just so damn...cute! I tore what was left of my old shirt off and tossed it aside, and carefully and very slowly pulled the new one on. It hurt, it hurt more than hurt but still, I was in a clean shirt now. That was definitely an up-side. "You okay?" "Fine" I pulled the blanket back around myself and ignored the pain. It wasn't really there, it was all in my head. I hadn't noticed Daniel at his first aid kit and he returned with the drink bottle and two white tablets.

"Thank you sooo much" he smiled and handed both to me, I choked the tablets down, dry. Then took a sip from the bottle. Handing it back to him, I started the interrogation. "Where do you think Jack is?" Daniel shrugged and sat down beside me, nearer to the fire "Depends whether he got away..." I smothered a smirk. Well, that depends if they let Angie get to him… Neither of us spoke much more. It was weird, I would have loved to talk about what he liked, and anything that could be on his mind. But he seemed to just be happy, staring into the fire. Then I figured what he was so sad about. Well, I hoped it was. "Jack will be okay" Daniel glanced to me, then back.

"Why’d you say that?" I shrugged slightly but winced at the shots of pain that ran through my ribs. "I just thought that, well, maybe that’s what you were talking about…" he chuckled softly. "Nah, actually wondering if Jack got away, or if he even wanted to!" I smiled at him and he returned it. "How do you do it?". "How do I do what?" Daniel continued to look at me, so intently I glanced away, but then back. "How do you go out every week, to the unknown and remain so happy?" he continued to smile and gesture to the ground. "I’ll answer your question once you lie down, I was thinking of sleeping outside tonight, despite the difficulty I had at getting the tent up" I nodded "Okay" I lay down and he pulled the blanket back over me. Lying down beside me, he glanced to my razed eyebrows, then up at the black sky. "I’ve got some great friends, with out them, I think I’d curl up and die" I frowned, that wasn’t good, that wasn’t good at all. I let both of us fall in to the silent night. I wasn’t going to try to talk about his friends, not even about his job. Some things were better left untouched. Or unsaid.

Thursday. Heading for the distance:

Yet another day, trudging along, having to put up with Daniel. It wasn’t as bad, it was a lot easier. I was hyped up on pain killers and dealing with great company. "Wher-" "I think the second emergency check point was just ahead, we’ll be there in ten mins" a small ‘I think’ was added after and I chuckled. We’d been doing that more lately, being spending to much time together. Not that I minded. "Well then, lets go" Daniel pulled me carefully up from my perch on a large rock and we started off again. And then there he was. There was Jack. And a very pissed off one at that. Daniel unwrapped his arm from my waist and helped me over to a old fallen tree.

"Thanks" I closed my eyes and drew a deep breath. A rest! Finally! I was surprised I hadn’t passed out by now! "Danny! You all right?!" I snorted softly. I’m fine Jack, don’t worry about me, I’m just *peachy*, especially after falling down a cliff and all… They talked for a bit, completely forgetting me. But I didn’t care, I just wanted to sleep. I let myself slide from the log and land on the mossy ground. I grunted but ignored the pain. It was nothing compared to my sleepy pain. So, I closed my eyes and ignored the others, letting sleep take me. And I didn’t care on bit. When I woke, I was in a tent. And in a sleeping bad. Oh, Daniel’s sleeping bag. Neh, no biggy! I could hear voices, outside...some one was talking about me. "We should go now, while she’s out of it" "No! She’s injured, and anyway, she’s real nice"

I couldn’t help but smile. That must have been Daniel, I don’t think Jack would or even could be that nice. "Don’t tell me you’ve got a soft spot for her?!" "Well…I have been with her for almost a week. She’s really nice, you should try talking to her…" "I’m not talking to anyone who spends all their time hunting us, especially you" Daniel didn’t sound to happy and I felt the need to protect him for Jack, after all, he hadn’t done anything wrong. I pulled unzipped Daniel’s sleeping bag and slowly, very very slowly, got up. After a little bit of grunting and cursing, I was finally on my feet. I staggered out of the tent and slowly started to head for the fire, where Daniel and Jack had planted themselves. "I say we make a run for it, she’s asleep and probably won’t wake, even if she does, she’s hurt and won’t be running to far"

"No, you go, I’m staying" I smiled at Daniel’s firmness but then frowned, he was fighting with Jack over me. *I* could be ending their friendship. "Stop fighting" they both looked up with surprised looks planted over their faces. Jack looked to the ground, knowing I’d heard everything. "You can go, I’ll be fine. I’ll be gone tomorrow morning. Not to hot on the idea of hiking in the dark". I shrugged and still stood, not wanting to have to get up if I sat. Daniel looked to Jack who slightly shook his head. Then Jack, not Daniel spoke. "No, we’ll come with you". Damn it! I hated when people looked at you like females. And that was ‘just’ what he was doing!

"I’ll be fine, you two should start heading back. Sam will get worried". Jack growled softly and I thought he’d jump he ‘Uh oh’. "You’re as bad as Daniel! And the answer is no! You’re coming with us. I’m not having someone tramp around the bush with busted ribs and a buggered up ankle" I snarled back at him. "*I* can manage" Jack snorted rudely and razed his eyebrows. "Yeah right!". Finally, Daniel picked up on my drift of hurt feminism and cut in, just before Jack was about offend me further.

"I think what Jack means that, if anything happened to you…he’d feel ba-" "No I wouldn’t" Daniel turned and glared hard at his friend, I smothered a smile that had begun to form. "*Yes* you would" "Nuh huh" "Yeah he" "Nuh huh" "Yeah he" "Boys! You’re meant to be adults!" I watched as Daniel sat opposite Jack, glaring at him from behind the flames. Jack glanced up at me once he’d one the daggers contest "We’re coming, and that’s final".

************

Friday. The end of the journey:

I don’t know what they put in my coffee that night, but damn! It was something strong! I woke at midday to find that Daniel had carried me the whole morning. When I asked why they hadn’t woken me they’d both simply stated that they didn’t want to deal with a cranky female, let along a hung over one. Oh, so it was alcohol they put in that coffee… ‘That would explain the head ache’, I concluded. But I figured it wasn’t intentional, cause they looked just as bad. "I can walk…". I looked up at Daniel and put on my puppy dog eyes. Jack glanced to me and razed his eyebrows "Yeah, right. I’d really like to see you take a step, let alone skip through the bush".

I glared at him, until he grinned and continued on, chuckling to himself. He wasn’t that badda guy. I’d talked to him after Daniel had headed off last night and he seemed all right. I turned my eyes from him, back up to Daniel. "Please?" he glanced down, saw the eyes, and crumbled. "Uh…Jack!" Jack groaned from ahead "Don’t let her get to ya Daniel!" Daniel looked back down at me and frowned. "Sorry, not getting down for you". I frowned back. Something’s just weren’t far! That looked almost always worked. We came upon another log "Hold on" cam a voice then incredible pain. I felt the pained cry escape my lips before I could stop it. I was placed back on the ground, I think. The pain was just to much. I felt the worst thing in the world happen. I felt tears rising. ‘No! NO! What ever you do, don’t cry. You’re a country kid, use emotions to your advantage, not your disadvantage’.

"Hey, you all right?" I pulled my eyes open and stared up into Jack’s face. I nodded to the best of my ability "Yeah, dandy". He chuckled softly but still helped me to sit. Daniel ran over, jumping the damned log with ease and crouched beside me with the first aid kit. And then he produced those magic white pills. YAY! Pain killer high! "Take these" I didn’t argue with that. Once again, I swallowed them dry, not bothering about water this time. I just wanted those tablets in me, the sooner the better. "Sorry" Jack shook his head. "Don’t be sorry, as long as you’re okay" I nodded and smiled a little encouraging smile. Just to let them know I wasn’t weak. Just as the painkillers started to kick in, Daniel bent down to pick be back up. "No, I’ll carry her" Daniel looked up, startled. Jack sighed "I’m probably more light on my feet, she’ll have a softer ride. Sorry Danny, you’ve done really well though".

I gave Daniel a soft smile and squeezed his offered hand "Thanks Daniel" he smiled back and nodded. Then, I turned back to Jack "I can walk-". "Don’t even think about it" in one swift and painless motion, he easily plucked me from the ground. After readjusting his grip, he set off in the lead. Two long and painful hours later, we finally saw our first signs of civilization. All of us breathed a big sigh of relief. "Finally!" came an exasperated cry. I think it was from Jack, who very gently put me down. But left a hand on my shoulder, to help keep my balance. "Can you make it from here?" I nodded. Daniel came up beside me and dropped my pack from his shoulders "You might want this back. I glanced at the very torn and unhealthy looking excuse for a bag. But all the same, it was my bag.

"’hanks". We all were silent, listening to the birds and the gentleness of the bush. Jack turned me around gently and smiled "I misjudged you. You’re an okay kid…even if you are kinda insane". I smiled back "Thanks for sticking around. And not leaving me to the kangaroo’s" he chuckled and then nodded, sincerity showing in his eyes. "If your ever in trouble and need help, you know where to kind me. After all, that’s what you’re good at". He turned, leaving only Daniel and me. I sighed, this was it. I really felt that he was a true friend, even if he didn’t think so. "Thanks-" "Thanks-" We both smiled at each other and Daniel was the first to speak again. "Thanks for listening and being a friend" I nodded and gripped both of his hands. "Thanks for saving me, being there and supplying the pain killers" he smiled, which turned into a grin.

"No problem, ‘always there to listen’ they say". Daniel squeezed my hand and gave me a soft and friendly kiss on the lips. Almost like a bother would. When he pulled back he smiled AGAIN! I mean, did this guy ever stop smiling. But one thing was sure, brotherly kiss or not, he was still breathtaking! "You’d better head off…" I nodded and gently pulled a piece of paper from my pocket. "You got a pen?" he handed me the pen and I wrote quickly on it, then handed it to him, with the pen. "If you ever want to talk" he nodded and slipped the piece into his top pocket. "I will, I can promise you that" then, he turned with one last wave and headed off to where Jack stood, smiling and waving to me. "See ya round!". Carefully, I pulled my pack up and slipped it onto my back. Thank god for pain killers. And thank god for all the Daniel’s in the world.

And for letting me get to spend time (apart from time when I’ve captured him) as a friend. I glanced at the now empty track and then headed off the opposite way. It felt good and bad at the same time to be walking. It meant I was able to and that I wasn’t relying on anyone else. But the bad side was, I still had sore ribs and a very sore ankle. Couldn’t wait to upgrade to hospital pain killers. I finally spotted my team. And I must say, they looked even worse than me! Angie looked like she’d pull her now grey hair out any minute. Chris, Phil and Lewis were looking like…like, males. All of the group, except Angie were stretched out, sun baking. Before I could call out, a hand grabbed mind and gently but forcefully pulled me from the track.

"What the-" Daniel clamped his hand over my mouth and put a finger to his lips. "Shh, don’t let Jack or your group hear you" he pulled me gently into the trees and grinned. "After all this, I forgot to ask you your name. I smiled and then laughed slightly. Wow, all this time and I didn’t notice. I held out one of my bruised hands to him and he gently shook it "I’m Lyn". "Well Lyn, it was nice meeting you. I hope I’ll talk to you soon. But right now, you need to meet up with your friends and get yourself to the nearest hospital". I nodded. "See ya, and thanks" he nodded and snuck off into the trees and back to Jack. *Only to appear again, grab me carefully around the waist and lift me into his arms.

Gazing adoringly into my dirty and cut face he smiled, so softly "Shouldn’t you be going?". He shook his head "Nah, rather be here with you" I sighed and dragged up my voice, seeing that it had disappeared. "I’m yours" he kissed me softly and I kissed him back. "Let’s be together, forever" he kissed he again. I pulled back, framing his face "What about Sha’uri?" Daniel laughed "Who’s Sha’uri?!". We both laughed together. As we stopped Daniel kissed me again "We’ll always be together…"* (only kidding! Here’s the real ending, above was me dreaming *sigh* *grin* *chuckle*) Angie glanced up and saw me. "Oh my god…!" she ran forward until she finally reached me. And then she started talking to fast for her own good. "Ohmygod! Wethoughtyouweredead! Butyouaren’t! Ohmygod!".

For you out there who couldn’t or even didn’t try to understand that, I’ll translate. "Oh my god! We thought you were dead! But you aren’t! Oh my god!. Wow, what great sentences for a teenager. School put us here! Take that principal! Angie glanced over me, then behind me "You’re alive!". "No shit" she smiled "Are you…okay?" I shrugged but then winced "I think I need the hospital". A large frown filled her face, clearly asking how come I was so calm. Male influence girl, damn fine male influence! They all packed up camp, I curled up in the 4wd and went to sleep. It was rocky getting in so it’d be the same getting out. But I didn’t notice. I was having far to nice a dreams.

I was woken when Angie sat beside my lying form, putting my battered head onto her lap. "How’d you survive?". I opened my eyes, then closed them again "Just lucky I guess". She nodded and started to unzip my jacket. I let her poke at my ribs gently and then she pulled my t-shirt back down. "Where’d you get that top from?" I glanced down at the black t-shirt, a small smile crept onto my face. "Just lucky I guess…".
