Okay so like this is how I think 'Tin Man' should have ended. So Far: The real sg-1 have just said goodbye to their clones and are about to dial home but... IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY! ACTUALLY IT'S SET ON THE SAME PLANET STILL BUT HEY! I'M IN A STUPID MOOD AND TALKING TO A COMPUTER SO... O'neil walked quickly over to the DHD and watched Carter put in Earth's co-ordinates. The gate opens and so far this story sucks... The gate opens but before sg-1 can go through they all collapse and their clones quickly run to them. Harland slowly bent down and checked Daniel's pulse, he glance up at Daniel's clone "What's wrong?" Clone Daniel asked "I don't know" he answered and turned to the other clones "Take them to the infirmary" he said and they all picked up the unconscious sg-1 members. O'neil opened his eyes and slowly sat up, Harland came quickly over and put a hand on his forehead "Good very good" he mumbled and checked Carter "Very very good" he added when she woke up, Sam stood and walked over to O'neil "Sir, what happened?" she asked and he shrugged "Ask him not me" Harland walked over "Comtria! How are you all feeling?" he asked worriedly, Sam and Jack nodded "What happened?" Sam asked and sat down next to Harland "You caught a fever a very bad fever" he said and Sam raised her eye brows "What sort of fever?" "Well...you reacted to the transfer that made your clones" he answered, Sam quickly glanced around and turned back to Harland "Where's Daniel?" she asked "This way" Harland answered walking out of the room and Teal'c joined them. Sam entered another room like the one she had first woken up in, she spotted a figure on one of the beds and quickly went over to it "Daniel?" when Daniel didn't respond she noticed and way he was breathing "Jack, get over here!" she called out and pulled some hair away from Daniel's eyes "What's wrong Capt. Carter?" O'neil asked when he caught up to her "It's Daniel sir" she replied and turned to Harland who was looking on sadly "Very sad, very very sad" "What's wrong with him?" O'neil asked and Harland came over "He's very sick very very sick" he said and O'neil grabbed his throat "How is he sick?" he demanded and let Harland go "You all got sick but you got better except for him" Harland said looking at Daniel "He'll die soon unless we make him better" he said and Sam looked up "Then make him better" she demanded and he shook his head "Can't" "But you just said..." "No, I can't make him better but I can make him live" Harland said "How?" O'neil asked and Harland walked to the wall and hit a yellow button, the section of the wall disappeared to reveal three upright beds with clear glass over the front as a door "What are they?" Sam asked as she studied them slowly "Cold sleep chambers" he said and O'neil sighed "In other words..." he prompted "They freeze you" Harland explained and Sam looked back at Daniel "You want to freeze him?" she asked in disbelief and Harland nodded "If we don't he will die" he added and O'neil walked back over to Daniel. "Sorry buddy but we're gonna have to freeze you" O'neil said kneeling down beside his younger friend "Colonel! We are not going to freeze Daniel!" Sam exclaimed and O'neil looked up "Carter we don't have a choice" "Yes we do, we take him home and they'll fix him up" Sam answered and O'neil stood and grabbed her shoulders "Sam, Harland doesn't have the technology so why would we have it" O'neil said and she sat down beside Daniel and stroked his hair "But he'll either die or be frozen for the rest of his life" she said running her finger down his cheek "But when we figure out what exactly is wrong we'll come back and bring him out" O'neil said and she nodded "But we might not be alive by then" Sam argued "Sam this is the best thing we can do for him at the present time" Teal'c said and O'neil cut in "Sam I won't do this with out your permission" O'neil said and she stood up and gazed at Daniel's face, she nodded and Harland took a scanner out and quickly ran it over Daniel's body, Sam watched as Daniel's clothes changed in to the same ones the clones wore "Why did you do that?" O'neil asked "The uniform he was wearing would not freeze well but this will" Harland answered and nodded towards Teal'c, Teal'c easily picked Daniel up and stood him upright in the cold sleep chamber, Daniel weakly opened his eyes half way open and looked at Sam's tear streaked face as the door closed and cold air started to fill the small chamber, Sam smiled as he closed his eyes and took his final breath. Sam, O'neil and Teal'c stopped and turned back before entering the gate, they all turned back and looked at their clones, Harland bowed "We'll look after your friend" he said and O'neil saluted and stepped in to the gate followed by Teal'c and last was Sam. One year later... Harland grabbed a portable power source and strapped it around his wrist, he dialled in Earth's co-ordinates and stepped in to the gate. "General, are you letting the person through or not?" the gate commander asked and General Hammond turned to him "Is Sg-1 here yet?" "Yes sir. They are down in the gate room as we speak" the gate commander said "Then open the iris" Hammond said and the iris disappeared and the gate opened. Harland fell through the gate and quickly picked him self up, the gate guards surrounded him but stepped back when Colonel O'neil, Capt. Carter and Teal'c stepped up to Harland. Harland smiled "Comtria!" he shouted and hugged Jack and Sam but stayed clear of Teal'c. "What's the matter Harland?" Sam asked as the four of them plus the general sat down in the conference room "It's Daniel" he said and every one tensed up "The power source that has been keeping the chamber running has been malfunctioning lately and I'm worried about how long it'll last for" Harland explained, Sam stood up "Then let's go back and bring him out" she said and O'neil nodded "We can't, there isn't enough power to bring him out" Harland said and checked his power supply "I don't have much time left but if you could come back and bring some power from here" Harland added and O'neil glanced over at General Hammond who nodded "You can go. And I hope you come back with Doctor Jackson" he added and stood "Oh, and I will get the staff busy on a power supply" Hammond said before leaving but he came back in "You leave in an hour". Sam rubbed the glass that was over the chamber but the frost was mainly on the inside, she glanced over at O'neil and Harland who were rigging up the power. Teal'c ran in to the room breathless "Teal'c what's wrong?" O'neil asked looking up "Apophis just came through the gate with four other Jaffa's" he said finally, O'neil jumped up and grabbed his hand gun and his machine gun and Teal'c took hold of his staff and they headed out of the room, Harland hit the switch and the chamber lights to the side lit up "I've started the progress, it'll take a while. I'm going to find your synthetic others, you stay here and keep an eye on him" Harland said and Sam nodded "Oh and when he does come out give him this injection before he wakes up" he added before leaving. Sam watched as the frost slowly disappeared, Sam sat down on one of the beds and closed her eyes but opened them when a weird sound came on, she quickly stood and watched as the glass door opened and Daniel fell out, Sam caught him half way to the ground and dragged him up on to one of the beds. "Daniel. Daniel can you hear me?" Sam quickly gave him the injection and felt his forehead, she sighed and checked his pulse "Thank god" she whispered as she felt the steady beat of his pulse, she quickly ran over to the exit and closed the door and locked it and then went back to Daniel. "Sam?" Sam looked up when she heard the weak voice, she walked over to Daniel and sat beside him "Daniel can you hear me?" she asked and he moved his blue lips but nothing came out so he nodded weakly "Are you cold?" she asked and he nodded so she pulled a blanket out of her pack and wrapped it around him "Can you talk?" she asked and he nodded slightly "Yes" he said weakly and she lied down beside him and hugged him tightly "Where am I?" he asked and she stroked his forehead "Your still on Pxy89" she answered and he seemed to wince "Where is every one else?" "Apophis has just come through with a small army of four, I had to stay here to bring you out of cold sleep" she told him and sat up "Daniel I know you've been through a lot be we have to get out of here it's a dead end" she said and helped him sit up "One last question" he said and she sighed "Okay but then we have to go" "How long have I been asleep?" he asked and Sam stood and tried to pull him up but he refused "How long Carter?" he shouted and she let go of him and sighed "How long Carter?!?" he demanded "One year" she answered and he put his head in his hands "Daniel I'm sorry" she said sitting beside him and he turned his head but still kept his eyes shut "Daniel what's wrong with your eyes?" she asked putting her hand on the side of his face so that he was looking at her "Can you open them?" she asked and he nodded and opened them slowly, Sam looked in to his eyes which were a very light blue, she reached in to her pack and pulled out her small torch and shined it in to his eyes but he didn't blink at all or even flinched "Daniel can you see anything?" she asked and he shook his head "No, not a thing" he answered and she put away her torch "Come on, we gotta get out of here" she said helping him up, taking his hand and lead him to the door. Sam stepped out in to the long corridor followed by Daniel, she lead him in to another room and picked up her gun and handed her hand gun to Daniel and then pulled him out of the room "Can you see anything?" Sam asked and he shook his head "Don't worry, it'll probably go away" she said and he smiled weakly, she started to go in to another room but he grabbed her hand and pulled her in the opposite direction "Daniel where are we going?" she asked as he pulled her under a pipe and in to another corridor "Daniel where are we going?" she demanded and he turned back "To Apophis" he answered and she shook her head "Your blind" she said "I know but I can feel him" he answered and pulled her under another pipe and sat down against the metal wall "What are you doing?" she asked and he put a finger to his lips and pulled her down next to him. "He's here" he whispered and she quickly glanced around and noticed Apophis in the corner "You were right" she said softly and he nodded, she sat down beside him and took his hand, he turned to her and looked straight in to her eyes and Sam noticed they were slowly getting bluer, he squeezed her hand in his "I wish I could see you" he said and she pulled his head on to her shoulder and stroked his hair "It's weird you know" she said and he looked up "Why is it weird?" he asked taking his head off her shoulder "I've aged and you haven't" she finished and he smiled "You were a year younger than me but now we're the same" he said and she nodded, Sam looked over at Apophis again and then turned back to Daniel who was looking at his hands "What's wrong?" she asked and he glanced up "Did you miss me?" he asked and Sam smiled "Of course!" she exclaimed and Daniel put a hand over her mouth and then took it off "Sorry" she said and snuggled down beside Daniel who wrapped his arm around her with the blanket, she looked up at him and put her hand on his jaw, he looked down when he felt her hand, Sam shifted and pulled herself upward and he put a hand under her chin and kissed her softly. After a minute they both pulled back quite surprised, Sam looked at Daniel surprised and he pulled back slightly and took a deep breath "Sorry" he said before standing and pulling out his gun and loading it and then he walked around the corner and was gone, Sam quickly followed him. Sam caught up to Daniel who was walking along a corridor and was trying to open a door, she quickly opened it and they walk through in to a small room where O'neil and Teal'c were tied up in a corner with two Jaffa guards guarding them, Daniel turned to Sam and realised he could see slight silhouettes. Daniel turned back and saw that some one was standing in front of him "Who is standing in front of me Sam?" he asked and heard Sam take a sharp breath "Sam who is it?" he demanded "It's our good friend Apophis" she finally admitted and Daniel was punched in the head. "Oh shit" Daniel muttered as he was grabbed and forced to kneel down on the floor, Sam was pushed beside him and he looked beside him but could see nothing "Sam, why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Daniel asked sarcastically "I don't have much of a feeling about this either" she answered and moved closer to him. O'neil glanced over at Sam and Daniel who had just joined himself and Teal'c "How are you Daniel?" he asked and Daniel jerked up his head slightly "Where are you Colonel?" Daniel asked and O'neil waved a hand in front of Daniel's eyes but got no reaction "Daniel are you okay?" he asked and Daniel shrugged "Just peachy sir" he answered and O'neil looked over at Sam who continued to look worriedly at Daniel. Apophis grabbed O'neil by the collar of his SGC uniform and pulled him to his feet "Where is Harland?" he demanded and O'neil grinned "Not telling" O'neil answered and received a fist in the jaw, after O'neil recovered he smiled to the best of his ability "That's no way to treat a guest" Apophis smiled "If you won't brake which you won't I'll try the other members of your stupid little team" he snarled and let go of O'neil who was tied up. Apophis stepped up to Teal'c "You won't brake" he said and Teal'c was also tied up and Apophis walked over to Sam who looked away in disgust "You won't either" he said and grabbed Daniel by his black shirt and pulled him to his feet "But you will" he said and looked carefully at Daniel's face "Such a pretty face and your also very smart, pity you can't see" Apophis mocked, Daniel squirmed but Apophis held tight "Not so fast" he snarled and forced Daniel over to the others "Your friend is about to betray you!" he said and made Daniel kneel "How do you feel O'neil?" Apophis asked with a nasty smile "Great" O'neil muttered and Apophis's smile grew wider, he took Daniel's chin in his hand and forced Daniel to face him "Where is Harland?" he snarled and Daniel spat in his face, Apophis threw Daniel across the room until he hit the wall and fell down, Apophis slowly walked over to him and knelt beside him "Now your name is Daniel? Is that right?" Apophis asked and when he received no answer he grabbed Daniel's throat and started to choke him "Is you name Daniel?" Apophis repeated with gritted teeth and Daniel nodded so Apophis released his throat. O'neil looked over at Sam and Teal'c "He doesn't stand a chance" he said and looked sadly back at where Daniel was being tortured. "Now for the last time Daniel. Where is Harland?" Apophis asked and Daniel grinned "Eenny Meeny Miny Mo" Daniel said softly and Apophis hit him across the face "I'll make a deal. I give you your eye sight back and you tell me where Harland is" he said and Daniel lowered his head ready for another blow. Daniel felt the blow but concentrated more on the gun that he was trying to pull out of his pocket. "Daniel one last time. Where is Harland?!?" Apophis said loosing his cool. Daniel took hold of the gun and put it to what he thought was Apophis's head, obviously it was his head cause he froze like a rat in head lights. "You little..." Apophis started but didn't finish before the bullet entered his forehead. Daniel quickly pushed Apophis's dead body off of himself and shot the other four guards and then let the gun fall out of his hands and collapsed in a heap against the wall. O'neil cut the last of his binds on his broken watch and then untied Sam and Teal'c and they all headed slowly over to Daniel and Apophis. Sam pulled Daniel up and propped him up against the wall, Sam looked closely at the gash on his forehead and turned back to O'neil "Find Harland, ask if the blindness is permanent" she instructed and Teal'c and O'neil took off. Daniel groaned and Sam looked up and placed a hand on his forehead "Daniel are you all right?" "Not really considering" he shot back and slowly pulled him self up "Is he dead?" he asked while rubbing his hands up and down his arms "Yes. Are you cold?" she asked and he nodded "What am I wearing?" Daniel asked sitting back down beside her "Nothing" she teased and he smiled "No really" he said "What your clone wore" she told him gazing around the large room. Daniel shivered again and Sam wrapped her arm around his shoulders and he snuggled close but not to close "Thanks" he said and closed his eyes and tucked his knees to his chin and wrapped his arms around his legs "Daniel I need to talk to you" Sam said and Daniel raised his eyebrows "Well what do you think your doing" he teased and she chuckled "Don't be a smart arse. But I do need to talk" Sam said and he shrugged off her arm "Why do I have a bad feeling about this" he muttered "Go ahead" he finally said and she cleared her throat "What happened before?" she asked and he sighed "About what?" he said and it was her turn to sigh "About before" she said growing annoyed "Oh. That" he said and looked away "Look..." she started but was interrupted by Harland. "Comtria!" Harland shouted as he finally arrived and sat down beside Daniel "Will he be okay?" Sam asked and Harland smiled "Yes he'll be better. And thank you, will you tell him that" Harland asked and Sam nodded "Sure" "You can go home now" he said and gave Daniel a quick injection. Daniel slowly opened his eyes and tried to focus but couldn't he groaned and shut his eyes again "What did that bastard give me" he groaned and clutched his forehead. Sam entered and smiled when she heard Daniel groan "I think your fine" she said and Daniel stopped groaning "How long have I been out?" he asked and Sam sat down "Three days" she told him and he groaned again "I spend most of my life bloody sleeping" he complained and opened his eyes but he couldn't see anything "I can't see" he said "We know" Sam answered and patted his head "Don't give up hope" she added "What have they got me wearing this time?" he asked and she chuckled "Same clothes from Pxy89" she answered and he nodded "I've gotta go now but I'll see you later" she said before leaving. Daniel quickly pulled the covers back and swung his legs over the side, the pulled on his boots which he found next to his bed and listened to see if any one was around. When he was satisfied that no one was around he fumbled along the table until he found O'neil's expedition sun glasses and put them on. Daniel put his right hand on the wall and slowly walked along until he reached a door, he ran his hands over the metal until he found the control panel and punched in what he thought was his access and exit code, it was obviously someone's cause the door slid open and he started to walk along the small corridors. Daniel stepped in to the elevator and listened as the doors slid close "Who's in here?" he asked as he heard some one breath in "Oh, no hiding I guess. I'm Lauren. I new to the cafeteria" she said and he smiled "Best part of the base" he commented and heard a small laugh "Who are you?" Lauren asked and Daniel leant against the wall and shoved his hands deep in to his pockets "Daniel Jackson" he said "Hi, what do you do around here. Let me guess, you work in to cafeteria" she asked and he shook his head "No. I'm in sg-1" he answered and heard a small gasp "Wow. Your in the first sg team?" Lauren asked "Well I was" he added and he heard her move beside him "Did you quit?" she asked "No not quite" he said "Last mission left me... a little unable to be on the team" he added "Happens. People freak out all the time, especially people in the military" she answered and Daniel chuckled "First I didn't freak out at any thing. And second I'm not military" he said "Last mission I lost my sight" he added "And they let you out?" she exclaimed "Well not exactly..." "You 'ran' away from the infirmary?" she asked in disbelief and he nodded "Just needed some air" he added quickly and listened as the door slid open with a small 'ping' "Nice to meet you" Lauren said and Daniel stepped out and was about to walk down the corridor but Sam stepped around the corridor "Daniel! What are you doing?!?" she demanded running up to him, Daniel groaned and stepped back in to the elevator with Lauren who laughed "Let me guess. Team mate?" she teased and he nodded and pushed the down button but Lauren stopped him just before the doors closed on Sam. Sam pushed the doors open and dragged Daniel out "What are you doing here?" she demanded and Daniel shrugged "Well if it's Sunday I'm on a Sunday drive" he answered and heard Lauren laughed and then the doors close. Sam took Daniel's sunnies off and he looked at his feet and shoved his hands deeper in to his pockets "I can't believe you'd do that!" Sam exclaimed and he looked even closer at the boots he couldn't see, Sam sighed "Daniel look at me" Sam demanded and he looked up at her with his pale blue eyes "Sorry mum and I can't look at you any way" he said and she smiled "No more running away then?" she asked and he nodded "Okay then lets take you back" she said and pushed down on the elevator and the doors opened and they stepped in. Daniel stepped out of the elevator and followed the sound of Sam's feet along the corridor but stopped when he saw a flash of light, he opened his eyes and looked down at his feet and slowly they came in focus. Sam turned around to find Daniel standing in the middle of the corridor in the clothes that Harland had given him "Daniel come on" she urged but he didn't budge from were he was looking at his boots. "Daniel come on" Sam demanded as she approached Daniel, he looked up at her with his bright blue eyes and she stopped, he grinned and she slowly walked up to him and waved her hand over his eyes and he blinked and followed her hand with his eyes, she smiled and hugged him tightly and he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the cheek. Daniel and Sam walked in to the conference room and sat down "Thank you for joining us" General Hammond said and turned to look at sg-1 "I just wanted to say well done on removing Apophis" Hammond said O'neil stood "Sir, It was Daniel that killed Apophis" O'neil said and Hammond turned to Daniel who was making a paper plane, Daniel folded the last wing and picked it up "Doctor Jackson" Hammond said and Daniel slowly looked up "Whoops" he said and quickly let the plane drop to the desk "Yes sir" he asked "Nice plane" Hammond answered and Daniel looked down at it "Sorry sir" he answered and General Hammond smiled "I see your back to your normal self" he said and O'neil smiled "Yep things are differently back to normal".
