Colonel Maybourne glared down at Daniel "Open fire, fire fire!!!" he demanded and the Airman loaded their guns and aimed them at Daniel and the Tolones.
Daniel turned back to Lya and gave her a sad look, she nodded and stepped back to the gate and the liquid appeared "Come" Lya said and the Tolones disappeared. "Dr Jackson you will be kicked out of the program!" Maybourne screamed and Daniel looked up at the control booth "Fire! FIRE!" Maybourne shouted and the guards prepared to fire, Lya took Daniel hand and pulled him through the liquid as the bullets hit the StarGate.
Sam and Jack ran down the stairs in to the gate room and the guards quickly pulled their guns down "Where's Daniel?" Sam asked and Teal'c came over from where he had been standing in the gate room "He went with Lya" he said and Sam looked over at the gate "He wouldn't" she said and O'neil shook his head "He didn't have much of a choice" he answered glaring up at Maybourne who was still in the control room.
Daniel fell out of the gate and landed hard on the steps, Lya quickly took his hand and pulled him up "Where am I?" he asked looking around at the buildings "Home" Lya answered and checked that the Tolones were okay but Daniel stepped in front of her "No. Your home maybe but this is not mine" he said getting worried "I am sorry Daniel but I could not let you be hurt. You shall live with the Knox and the Tolones now" she said and helped the leader of the Tolones, Omog, up.
"So what do we do?" Colonel O'neil asked the general "I don't know" the general answered and Sam slumped down in to her chair "We have to get Daniel back" she demanded and O'neil nodded "Omog seemed to grow on to him so he'll look after him" he said and Sam nodded "I hope so".
Daniel followed Lya in to one of the buildings and she led him in to another room and showed him a bed and dresser "There should be a set of clothes in the dresser and this shall be your room" she said and he pulled the clothes out "Oh and please explore. You are now a Knox" she said and left.
Daniel took off his normal clothes and pulled on the black pants and the black top that had a stripe down the side "Well aren't I lucky" he muttered and put his glasses on the table.
Sam picked up her gun and watched the chevrons lock in, she glanced over at O'neil who stepped in to the liquid she sighed and followed him, it just didn't feel like sg-1 with out Daniel.
Daniel stepped out in to the streets and watched the people rush by some glanced at him but then continued, he sighed and started to kick a small stone down the paved streets he finally found the stargate and sat down against it and closed his eyes.
Lya entered Daniel's room but he wasn't there she quickly found Omog in his quarters studying a book "I can't find Daniel" she said and he looked up "Have you looked at the gate?" he asked and she shook her head softly "No why would he be there?" she asked and Omog stood "He probably misses his friends" he answered and followed her out in to the streets.
Omog finally located the stargate and noticed a figure sitting on the top step leaning on the gate asleep "Daniel" Omog said and shook Daniel he stirred and opened his eyes "Let's take you back to your room" Omog said but Daniel shook his head "No I want to stay here" he said and Omog pulled him to his feet "Daniel this is your home now" Omog replied and Daniel shook his head "No. earth is my home" he answered and Omog pulled him towards the buildings "Not any more" he said and Daniel followed him "Lya wants you to take a course on their natural language and defenses" Omog added and Daniel nodded "What ever".
One week later…
Daniel tossed the book aside "This sucks!" he exclaimed and Lya came quickly over and picked up the book and put it back on the ground beside him "How is your defense classes go?" she asked sitting beside him "Fine, I now know how to kill and fight people including using all your weapons" he answered sarcastically "I'm gonna be stuck here forever!" Daniel murmured to him self.
