General Hammond entered and Teal'c, Sam and O'neil all stood and saluted, he looked at Dr. Jackson who had his head in his hands he shrugged it off and sat at the head of the table "Your next mission is to…" General Hammond but was interrupted by a loud siren which meant something was coming through the gate.
Daniel clasped his hands over his ears and groaned, O'neil turned the speaker off and rushed out of the room, followed by Hammond and Teal'c, Sam stayed and sat by Daniel "You okay?" She asked, he stared up at her "I need some sleep" he admitted and Sam realised this was a very rare opportunity for he was too stubborn for his own good "When was the last time you slept?" she asked rubbing his back "About four or five days ago" he said "Well come on, I'll take you down to your base room" she offered and he shook his head "Let's check out the siren" and with that he got up and walked out of the room, Sam sighed and followed him.
They entered the control room that over looked the gate, they looked down and saw O'neil, Hammond and Teal'c surrounded by other men, then Sam saw what was between them "Daniel stay put" she shouted but when she turned she noticed he was gone "Shit" she muttered as she turned back and watched him walk towards Hathor.
Hathor looked up as Daniel slowly walked towards her "Daniel, darling, come here" she said and he walked up to her, she slowly pulled him towards her and kissed him.
Sam pulled out her hand gun out and made her way through the dazed men, she got to the middle and found Hathor kissing a struggling Daniel, she loaded her gun and aimed it at Hathor "Let him go!" Sam shouted and Hathor realised Daniel and pushed him back, he fell down on to his back "Why hello Captain Carter" Hathor said smugly, Sam kept her aim, Daniel stood slowly and noticed Hathor quickly pull O'neil's side arm out, Daniel grabbed Sam and pulled her down, he got the bullet in the leg, Sam tried to grab her gun but O'neil grabbed it and put it in his belt.
O'neil picked up another gun that was Daniel's "Well what do we have here" he said bending down so he hovered over Daniel's body "Your going to stay put" O'neil said sternly "Like hell I will!" Daniel shouted but O'neil stopped him with a bullet in the shoulder, Daniel fell back gasping from the pain.
Sam watched Daniel and O'neil as three males picked her up and tied her hands behind her back "We will take males and females for Gou'alds now" Hathor announced "Carter and Jackson are to be locked up with two guards" O'neil said and Daniel was pulled to his feet, O'neil kneaded him in the stomach and Daniel doubled over, he was then dragged off.
"Just stay still and you'll help stop the bleeding" Sam said as Daniel slowly opened his eyes, he tried to sit up but Sam softly pushed him back down "Stay put" she ordered as she went to the door and banged on it "What do ya want?" A voice demanded from out side "A doctor" Sam said "No, we have our orders from queen Hathor" another voice said and Sam came back "How do we get out of here?".
Dr. Frasier walked down the corridor to the cells, she put the tranquilliser dart in the gun and loaded it, she fired twice and the two guards fell to the floor, she took the keys and undid the door, Sam looked up as the door opened and Dr. Frasier stepped in "Thank god your both still alive!" She exclaimed as she walked over to her two friends "Well here's a new patient" she said as she looked at Daniel, he winced at the word 'patient'.
"Hathor has every one under control and there's nothing we can do" Doc told them as she sat down on the bed where Daniel was "I want to take a look at you" she said but he stood "No, I'm fine lets go" he said and took the guns from the guards belts "Sam heads up!" he shouted as he threw her an automatic, he handed the Doc a hand gun and took the machine gun "Lets go!" he shouted and they ran down the corridor "Where are we going?" Sam asked and Daniel turned to her "For help" he replied and ran on in to the control room. No guards were down by the gate so Daniel dialled up the coorinates for Vadan.
"What are you doing!?!" Sam shouted as the gate opened "I'm going to get help" he said as he read through the read outs from the planet, he put him gun on the controls and went to the other side of the room and pulled out his Sg-1's exploring pack, he pulled on his jacket and pulled the back pack on, he grabbed his gun, he turned to Sam who was glaring at him "What?" He asked wincing from were the pack was digging in to his wound in his shoulder "Where are you going?" she asked trying to keep calm "Vadan" he answered checking the read outs again "We haven't been there" she stated and he shook his head "You haven't been there" he corrected and ran down the stairs in to the gate room, Sam followed with the Doc behind her "What do you mean?" Sam asked and Daniel turned to her "When I lived on Abydos I tried out other planets, Vadan was just one I got to, I've got a Gou'ald friend there who'll help me, after all he owes me magily" Daniel said and walked over to her "You and Doc Frasier are to close the control room doors and windows and stay in there". Okay" he said "Why can't I come?" She asked "The planets unstable for humans, and I've got some tricks left up my sleeve" he told her "And if you see Colonel shoot him for me will ya?" he added and Sam laughed "Come back" she said and looked in to his eyes "Don't worry about me, I've got a million and one lives, and I've only been dead twice so far" he told her and Dr. Frasier smiled "Yeah and you've got an appointment with me when you get back" she said and he groaned, Daniel lowed his lips to Sam and quickly kissed her, he pulled back and jumped through the gate.
Daniel fell out of the gate on to his stomach, he groaned as his leg twisted underneath him, he felt the bullet move but ignored it, he got up using on hand and checked his shoulder which had started bleeding again.
He walked out of the gate temple and out on to the grassy field, over the other side of the field was a bridge over a body of water, on the other side of the bridge stood a large temple.
Sam locked the door to the control room and pulled the closures down so the gate was blocked out, she then found the packs and pulled out another gun, she handed over a chocolate bar from a pack to Frasier she took it "Thanks, do you think Daniel will come back?" Frasier asked, Sam turned to her "Of course he'll come back!" Sam said louder than wanted.
Daniel limped slowly across the bridge, he got to the other side and collapsed on to the ground, he tried to get up but fell down, he rolled his head to the side and closed his eyes.
Daniel sat upright and pulled the silky material away from his face, he gasped and looked at his shoulder "It's gone" he muttered as he checked his leg, the stone around him started to move so he jumped out, the sarcophagus closed.
Dr. Frasier nibbled on the chocolate bar, she turned and peeked through the window at the gate "I hate standing" around she grumbled, Sam looked up from were she sat on the ground "Well lets go get Hathor" she suggested and Frasier looked up worriedly "But you promised Daniel!" she protested "Yeah I know" Sam said and looked back to the floor "Don't worry, he'll be fine" Frasier said sitting beside her friend "I hope so" Sam mumbled, Frasier grabbed her friends chin and forced Sam to look at her "He'll come back to you, don't worry" Frasier reassured her Samantha smiled "Yeah you're right I've just had so many people leave me" she added.
Daniel walked in to the main chamber and looked around at a Gou'ald with a serpent head, it pressed a button on it's neck and the serpent's head disappeared to reveal a human head "Dr. Jackson!" Vadanal cried out as he stood and walked down to the doctor, he shook his hand "What's up my good doctor?" Vadanal asked guiding Daniel to a seat "Well, Hathor came through the gate and has taken control of SGC and me, Sam and Dr. Frasier are the only ones not affected" Daniel told him and the Gou'ald nodded "Why aren't you affected?" Vadanal asked his friend "Friend saved me" Daniel said "Hathor only wants you" Vadanal said "She gets what she wants, she's the queen, the mother of every pharaoh and Gou'ald" he added, Jackson looked astonished "Your related to her?" Daniel asked "Yeah" Vadanal "Bummer huh?" he added, Daniel stood "Getting to the point, I…we need your help".
Sam stood "That's it! I'm going through the gate to get Daniel!" Sam announced, Frasier grabbed her arm "NO! We stay put!" Frasier said, they both stood "We don't want both of you dead" she added to her self, Sam hit the button on the control panel and the covers were removed from the windows, they could see the gate, suddenly it opened and about fifty people slowly came out, they were all dressed in black and had serpents heads.
The last came through and Sam quickly counted them "Fifty, we can try to take 'em, but we can try to reason" Sam said and Dr. Frasier nodded, they grabbed their weapons and headed down the stairs to the gate room.
Sam loaded her gun and spun around the corner "Move and Die, Freeze and Die!" she shouted, all the serpent heads turned to her, their staffs were trained on the two women "Shit!" Sam muttered, the serpents walked over and grabbed them and pulled them over to a golden headed serpent, they all still had their staffs trained on them.
One of the serpents ran forward and placed its self in-between Sam and the golden serpent, it shouted out in the Abydos language and all of the serpents turned to it, it said a few more things and then reached up and pushed a button on it's shoulder, the serpent head folded down to reveal a grinning Daniel "Ready to kick some Hathor butt?".
Sam stood mouth hanging open, Daniel put two fingers under her chin and pulled her mouth back up, he waved a hand in front of her face "Sam, snap out of it!" Daniel said, Sam looked down at what he was wearing, some kind of black Jean material for pants and he had a black skivvie on, Sam looked back up "Your a Gou'ald?" she asked and Daniel shook his head "No, but this is the fighting armour of Vadan Gou'alds" he said, she hugged his fiercely "Let's kick some bad Gou'ald butt" Daniel said and turned to the golden serpent, Daniel spoke a few words of the Gou'ald language, the golden serpent nodded and Daniel turned back to Sam "We're going in around, take 'em by surprise" Daniel told her "This is your friend?" Sam asked in disbelief "Yeah, who were you expecting… the Abydians?" he asked "Honestly… yes" Sam admitted "Well we've got power now" Daniel said "But that is a good idea" Daniel said running over to the gate, he dialled in Abydos's address and the gate opened "Where are you going?" Frasier asked "The weapons here have been taken by Hathor, we've got the Vadan's with their staff's including mine, but I've got a supply left by O'neil when we left Abydos" he said and turned to enter the gate "Keep the iris open" he said and jumped in to the liquid.
"So we've got a bunch of aliens and no Daniel to understand a world they're saying" Sam concluded "He'll be back soon" Frasier said and if on cue the gate opened, Daniel stepped through carrying three automatic weapons over his shoulder, he threw one to Sam and the doctor, and then kept one over his shoulder, he picked up his staff and walked over to the golden serpent, it turned to Sam and looked her over, it turned back to Daniel and said something Daniel nodded and turned to Sam "He say's your a strong person" and with that they slit in to eight groups, Sam, Daniel and Doctor Frasier went alone as a group and the Gou'alds all split up them selves.
Daniel was in the lead, he turned and put his fingers to his lips, Sam put up her hand to stop Frasier "What's up?" she asked Sam shrugged and tapped Daniel on the shoulder, he turned to her "Do you see any thing?" she asked "Yeah must be every fucking male on the hole base" Daniel grabbed Sam's hand and pulled her next to him and pointed in to the male locker room "What's she doing?" she asked "Feeding her children" Daniel answered turning back to where Hathor was sitting in the hot tub with Gou'alds swimming around her "Why does she need the men?" Sam asked "They'll be her new hosts" he said and loaded his gun.
The Serpents in groups came behind Daniel and started talking to him quietly "What are they saying?" Sam asked Daniel "They think we should all surround the locker room" Daniel said and Sam nodded "Yeah, lets go" Sam added and Daniel turned back to the Serpents and nodded, they all separated.

Dr. Frasier tapped Sam and Daniel on the shoulder "What's going on, why won't any one inform me of anything?" she demanded and Sam clasped her hand over the doctors mouth "Shhh!" she hissed and let Frasier go, Daniel gave a thumbs up and they sprang in to the locker room, Hathor glared at them and the men jumped in front of her, O'neil and Hammond stepped forward "Dr. Jackson I will kill you" Hammond threatened but Hathor got up and stood in front of him "No one will kill him, he's mine" she said and smiled sweetly, Daniel shifted position but kept the gun level.
Colonel O'neil stepped forward and glared at Daniel "Throw down your weapon soldier!" Daniel shook his head and aimed for O'neil's shoulder "Remember… I'm not in the military" Daniel said and fired, the bullet hit O'neil in the shoulder and Jack went down, Daniel aimed at Hammond's leg and shot, he also went down but soldiers filled their places.
"Why do you try to resist me?" Hathor asked and slowly moved towards Daniel and slowly blew a breath on to his face, Sam watched the women hypnotise Daniel and got furious, she raised he gun and took aim "Hey over here!" she screamed and Hathor turned to her, Sam stood still "Stay away from my guy!" Sam added and prepared to fire, Hathor held up her palm and the energy hit Sam, she flew back and hit the wall slumping to the floor, Daniel shook his head and slowly came out of his trance and saw what Hathor had done to Sam, he sprinted over to her and gently sat her up "Sam" he whispered and brushed away the stray strands of hair from her face, all he got was a groan "Sam, please! We've got a million year old hag down here trying to breed and she's got all the men at her feet" Daniel said desperately but still got no answer, Daniel thought for a second "GOU'ALD!" he shouted in her ear and Sam's eyes opened instantly, she stood up and grabbed her gun, Daniel stood beside and watched Hathor advance "Daniel, darling, do you betray me?" Hathor asked innocently, Daniel tilted his head to the side and thought for a second "Yep" he said and Hathor scowled, Daniel pulled Sam behind him protectively.
The men quickly caught Dr. Frasier and put her with Sam and Daniel who were being guarded in the corner of the locker room "I always thought I'd die in a locker room" Sam said and Daniel looked at her with razed eye brows "But not a males one" she added and smiled, Frasier and Daniel both chuckled which seemed to lighten the mood considering the circumstances.
Daniel looked at his gun over the other side of the room and shifted position, he continued rubbing the ropes that were bound around his wrists against the rough wall, finally they gave way and he turned slightly to Sam "I'm gonna get the gun" he stated and she frowned "Yeah okay, be super man and brake your binds" she replied sarcastically, he grinned and held up his free hands, Sam smiled "Wow, how'd you do that?" she asked "Super man" Daniel said before slowly getting to his feet, he kept his hands behind his back so it looked like they were still bound, the guard came over and glared at him "What are you doing?" he asked and Daniel shrugged "A drive in the country side" he replied and the guard grabbed him by the jacket and pulled him to Hathor "My queen, he was standing" the guard said while bowing, he turned to Jackson and motioned to bow, when he didn't the guard kicked him in the back and Daniel knelt "What do you want?" Hathor asked lifting Daniel's chin to meet her eyes "I came to ask you to be released, I have done wrong and ask for your forgiveness" Daniel said looking her in the eye, Hathor thought for a minute and then smiled "I like you, from the first moment I say you" she said running a finger down his cheek, she looked up "Guards, prepare him, he shall be our first new jaffa" she said and the guards came forward, Daniel saw the chance and quickly stood and kicked one in the stomach and the hit the other one, he then ran towards the gun, a metre from it Daniel dived and picked it up, he sat and started to fill it with ammo.
Hathor stood and removed her cape, she put on her hand weapon and watched the energy flow through her hand.
Sam looked on in astonishment, she had never known Daniel could fight, he was better than her.
Hathor pulled her fist together and the power crackled, she looked up at were Daniel was filling the gun with ammo, she smiled "Daniel, darling look up for a sec would you" she asked and Daniel shook his head, he stood and aimed his ammo at Hathor, Hathor held her hand out in front of her and opened her hand, the energy flew out and hit Daniel who was flung back and hit the wall, Hathor smiled and looked over at her two other prisoners.
Daniel slowly opened his eyes and looked at the retreating back of Hathor, he picked up the gun weakly and aimed it at the bath full of her new Gou'alds and fired, the bath blew up in flames and Hathor screamed and turned around "I told you to be dead!" she screamed at him "Sorry to disappoint you" Daniel retorted and Hathor smiled "Not to mention it" she said and held up her hand again, this time Daniel put a hand out in front of him, trying to protect him self.
Hathor smiled meanly and opened her clenched fist, the energy flew out and hit Daniel's hand, it stayed their and made a dome shape around him, Hathor screamed in frustration and threw another bolt but the dome protected Daniel and he slowly stood but still keeping his palm upward "How can this be?!?" Hathor said angrily glaring at Daniel "No… you are the son of Apophis!" she spluttered frightened and ran towards the gate room, Daniel sprinted after her but stopped when he noticed Sam and Frasier still tied up, he ran over and cut their binds and took off after Hathor.
Daniel stopped when he entered the gate room and stood just behind Hathor, the liquid sprung out of the gate and Hathor jumped through, Sam and Frasier came up behind him, Daniel looked back at the gate and stepped towards the closing liquid "Daniel stop!!!" Sam shouted but Daniel jumped through the liquid as it closed.
General Hammond limped up to the two ladies in front of the gate and was followed by the groaning Colonel O'neil "Are you ladies all right?" Hammond asked and the girls turned around "Yeah I guess so".
Daniel fell out of the gate and quickly got up, he squinted and spotted a temple close by and headed towards it.
"So, you two have told us every thing except were the hero is" Hammond said and sg-1 sat around the conference table "Daniel…Dr. Jackson went through the gate after Hathor" Sam stated and received funny looks from O'neil and Hammond "Sir. I think we should go get him" she added and looked in to General Hammond's eyes "Where is he?" he asked "Chulack sir" Sam said and Hammond nodded "O'neil's shoulder is good now so yes, but please be careful" he added and dismissed them.
SG-1 stepped through the stargate and out in to a temple on Chulack, they cautiously made their way across a field "Over here" O'neil called and Sam and Teal'c rushed over "What is it Colonel?" Sam asked and looked to were he was pointing, below in the valley was hundreds of human bodies lying all over the place "What the…" Sam muttered as she stared at the sight, they took out their binoculars and looked below "Lets go" O'neil said and they headed down in to the valley.
They walked around the bodies, Teal'c looked up when he saw movement "I saw something" he stated and walked forward, O'neil and Sam were right behind him, Teal'c pulled back a branch and pointed to the silhouetted figure that was sitting with it's legs dangling over the edge of the cliff up ahead.
O'neil loaded his weapon and slowly walked towards the survivor, when he was a few metres away he raised his weapon "Freeze!" he shouted and the figure didn't move, O'neil tried a different approach and slowly walked towards the figure, when the sun was blocked out by a tree he noticed the person had a SGC jacket and uniform on "Daniel is that you?" he asked and the figure remained quiet "Daniel?" Sam asked from were she stood next the O'neil "There all dead" Daniel muttered "There all just fucking dead!" he muttered again as he threw a rock over the cliff, Sam sat beside him "We know, are you okay?" she asked and he turned to her "Yeah" he said and stared back out at the clouds "What happened?" O'neil asked "Hathor, Jaffa, you can guess" he said and O'neil knelt down beside him "Why didn't you come back to SGC?" he asked and Daniel stood and started walking back to the gate "Didn't bring an iris beacon, decided to wait for you guys" he stated as he headed through the valley and weaving in and out of the bodies.
