I'm glad to say that what analysis I have matches closely with what I see on this site. So no point of me repeating any. But here's some myths and facts about this exam we're taking (some blatantly obvious, some not so).

Myth1:  If bab X came up last year, there's no way it's gonna come out this year.
Fact: Logically yes, but keep in mind that one bab contains many topics. It could throw a different topic from the same bab, or do a repeat as a struktur. Example:Hukum Raoult came out last year for Kimia, but that doesn't mean fasa keseimbangan is out. There's still Hukum Sekatan in the midst.

Myth2:  If the Amali was easy, the written exams are gonna be killer.
Fact: There's no relation between the two. If the written exams are gonna be hard, it's hard by its own accord.

Myth3:  For Pengajian Am essay, always answer the more difficult question 'cos it's harder to get marks for the easier question since EVERYONE ELSE is choosing it.
Fact: Absolute nonsense. As long as your isi and huraian are intact, so what if the question you answer is the same one chosen by 99% of the candidates in the country?? Always choose the question you know BEST. BTW, current issues aren't likely to come out since our paper is set by the MPM some 2 years back.

Myth4:  Examiners are Einstein incarnates who understand every single thing of the drivel you've written in your paper 2.
Fact: Examiners (especially for Biology) mark according to scheme. Most of the time they don't specialise in that particular subject they're marking. If it's not in the scheme, no marks. One way of avoiding pointless loss of marks is to state all teori/hukum/prinsip/formula for all the calculations you do. Calculations especially in Genetik essays should be shown one step at a time (no shortcuts, sorta like back in our old SPM Math Moden days) no matter HOW simple. If the allocated marks says [5] the answer is only one mark, meaning the kaedah is worth a whopping four. Huraian should be in simple and short sentences, not an entire twisting perenggan.
