One Minute More

Okay, I'm awake!
Yes, I really am

And I will get up
Just as soon as I can

But my pillow is soft
And my blanket is warm

If I stay here in bed
Just what is the harm?

The alarm has gone off
I should get out of bed

But the dogs on my feet
And the cats on my head
My slippers are far
And my robes on the door
So, I think I'll stay here
One minute more
