I didn't know what I was looking for but i heard chris elliott had a new show, so i thought i would find it. i was puffin and i was wanted some dry humor, and chris has some dry humor. So i find what i THINK i'm looking for. So I see chris, i recognize the setting, and he was a photographer for what seemed like a magazine...i was thinking.."is this what I was surfin for..?" ...i thought it was........then the scene changed to show the elevator open...and there she was......IOh my god.....she was beautiful. Short fashionable hair, perfect lips, , high cheek bones....and her eyes....she has the perfect eyes.....I was in love....what am i saying was for..I am in love..!!! So I don't watch the x-files, david I'm sure is a great guy....but tea leoni is a perfect woman, with an interesting name, and tea if you're EVER up in seattle...drop me a line..;-) oh yeah, and a hello goes out to the creator of this site. I guess what really intriges me is how tea has the attitude that she is fed up, she has the "trooper" frame of mind. Kinda like she'll do anything to get what she wants.....and in my book, that's the perfect partner......cheers to all..!!!! |

But... there's been a lot of speculation lately about a rumor reported in some of the tabloids and I've had several people write me and ask if it was true. I told them I didn't feel that it was and now, thanks to Alfornos, we have enough facts to judge the situation and determine the truth. The rumor was one linking David and his co-star in Return to Me, Minnie Driver. The truth is what follows according to the dilligent reporting of Alfornos. Due to the majority opinion expressed in this group, I wouldn't ordinarily post any quotes from the supermarket tabloids, but since the quote is from David's manager, Melanie Greene, as well as Minnie Driver's spokesperson, I thought some of you might want to know what they said. If you are unfamilar with the David/Minnie story that surfaced recently, here it is in a nutshell: Angie Coqueran - a New York paparazzo (most notorious for stalking JFK Jr) was out in LA (perhaps since her meal ticket is tragically dead - this is just my guess) and claims that on Nov. 20 she followed David and Minnie around all day while they went to a store, a restaurant and a movie. Naturally, the U.S. tabloids picked up the story. Here's the roundup: National Enquirer - no story/photos on this: good for them! Globe - innuendo-filled story (with a trying-to-be-clever conspiracy theme) w/ 4 "incriminating" photos of DD & MD plus (a color version) of the New York Post photo I posted about earlier this week (featuring David, Tea and Madelaine in NY). The article allocates one whole sentence for DD & MD's spokespeople to state that DD & MD are "friends." STAR - 3 "incriminating" photos of DD/MD plus the NY Post photo. The STAR article includes Melanie Greene's comment. MG says DD & MD *did* go to the movies. *And* Garry Shandling went with them. Minnie's spokesperson Lisa Kasteler reveals even more detail. After the movie, David and Minnie went to dinner at Nobu and then back to David's house. Oh, and by the way, Garry and Minnie's sister Kate went with them. (The article misspelled Garry and Greene.) [This reminds me of the recent photo that appeared around the world of Gwyneth Paltrow and Jerry Seinfeld. GP's boyfriend Guy Oseary was in the photo but he was cropped out so it looked like GP & JS were alone together.] About those "incriminating" photos: DD & MD are sitting on a bench on the sidewalk in broad daylight [bright enough that DD is wearing shades], talking. For those of you who read body language, David has his hands folded across his chest (except when he is talking, then his hands are gesturing all over the place). For those who love David in glasses, they are hanging from the collar of his shirt. Here is Melanie Greene's statement: "The fact is that David, Minnie and Gary Shandling - one of David's best friends - went to the movies. Gary was late and Minnie and David were hanging around waiting for him. Téa would have been with them, only she was filming in New York. They're all good friends." While she is not my fav person after reading some of the interviews she has done and I doubt the quality of her acting ability, the language and tone of some of the comments left in this guestbook are unca led for. It shows a lack of maturity and thought that makes the rest of us who have sincere concerns regarding DD's marriage and the welfare of his child look like wacked-out extremists. Vulgarity should not be used in such a public forum; instead, back up your opinions as to why you dislike her so much. It's out there if you look. As for the TLDL, obviously this site is needed to provide support for DD. While I doubt the stability of his relationship with TL, I hope for his sake and that of the baby t at the family he has chosen to establish with TL works out. After all the years of entertainment he has given us, he deserves the happiness that TL and the baby bring to him. To lose that would be more devasting than the painful divorce he experienced a a child. And any true fan of DD would not wish that on him or his daughter. Brent - 06/09/99 03:05:35 | Comments: Nice site, and after perusing some of the other posts it seems like a neccessary one. As much as many of these women are obsessed with DD I was obsessed with TL. I first spotted her in "A League of Their Own" and stayed through the credits to see who she as (number 3 on Racine). Flying Blind remains my all time favorite show, and while TNT was nowhere near as good the first season was decent before they tried sanitizing it after that. TL and DD appear happy and seem as close as ever. With 2 years of marri ge so far they are already well past the average Hollywood time limit for marriages. In my dreams I hope to find someone like her but as long as she and DD are happy then I am happy for them. As for the Tea bashers, get a life. It is nice to dream about s meone, but remember they have a real life to live and that doesn't include totall strangers who happen to be attracted or obsessed with either one of them. Just be happy that they are happy. |

Well I am not that big of a Tea fan but I am a huge DD fan and I had never even heard of Tea Leoni untill I found out David was married to her. I was not too happy about that, but then Tea must be a very special, lucky woman to have David! So have a happy marriage!!! |

I'm glad to see this site! The only X-FILES site I visit much is the AOL XF Forum so I guess I've missed the worst bashing but I've seen enough to disgust me. A lot of the negative posting is unbelivably childish and smacks of kids yelling insults in the choolyard. Count me in as one who refuses to bash anyone, especially someone as talented and interesting as Leoni. She was terrific in DEEP IMPACT and I expect to see a lot of her in future films. Remember this, Tea, when night falls you go to bed with yo r loving husband David, your online detractors go to bed with sour grapes. GB:) |

Happy Anniversary to David and Tea. To Mrs. Duchovny: yes, I am very envious of you, David seems to be a wonderful person and is obviously a very sexy man. However, I am happy for you and it makes me smile to see David smile and you seem to be able to o that. It is a shame that there are so many ignorant people out there who would bash someone David loves and in the same breath proclaim that they love him! How can that be? To Mr. Duchovny: Thank you for all the smiles you have brought to my life, some of them at times when I needed them most. I know it seems like there are more insensitive morons in the world than nice people, but there really aren't. (the morons just grunt louder...) Anyone with more than one active brain cell can tell how David has blossomed since Tea entered his life. I wish I could take away her memory of reading those hurtful, hateful comments, but I know I can't. I hope this site will help, a little, in knowing that there are people who wish Tea & David, individually and as a couple, success, happiness, and smaller long-distance phone bill from now on.... |

I am a member of SPCDD, and am proud to be a new member of your organization. When I first joined SPCDD I wrote a letter to Barbra O'Neil, in it I told her about my first experience with David and Tea'. I want you to hear the tale. Long before the daring couple got together, I had a subconcious desire to bring them together. I was never the type to hang pictures on my walls, but in my room I kept two, David and Tea'. These I kept on a little board(ok shrine) on my dresser. I thought that they were the most amazing people! Tea' was adventurous and daring, and David was smart and unconventional. Together they were what I wanted to be. My friends had seen my little shrine, and they knew how I admired these two amazing individuals. Last year when I heard the news of there marriage, I acually fainted. My friends later revived me, but the damage was done, they knew of my shrine, they knew f my admiration, and they all thought I was a visionary! I personally don't think I have the "gift", but I do think I have great taste in role models. David and Tea' are the most amazing couple, and I'm glad to see they admired each other even more than I could admire them. |

What a great celebration of David and Téa's first year together, making up this site. I only hope they will see it someday and realize how much we care, and that for every jealous basher out there, there's 20 of us who are so happy for them. I personally knew who Téa was before I ever even heard of the XF (I was a huge fan of Flying Blind) and when I heard that DD got married, I was thrilled to find out it was Téa Leoni! I read your updated 'rant' and I totally agree with everything you said!! I knew about all the crude, mean-spirited things being said about Tea...that was bad enough... but I had no idea that stalking was involved as well!
