Fawlty Towers is about the mishaps and misfortunes that occur in a hotel owned by Basil Fawlty (John Cleese). He runs the hotel with his wife Sybil, the maid/waitress/much more named Polly, and a Spanish waiter/busboy/etc Manuel (he's from Barcelona). There were only 12 episodes made for this series but they remain very funny and popular throughout the test of time. Most episodes have to do with the new guests who:
1. might be hotel inspectors
2. might be sneaking persons of the opposite sex in at night
3. might just be completely rude or stupid gits
4. might die during the night. (they do have a 50% chance of making it through the night.)
