Geri's First Solo Publicity Shot

"Stop" has entered into the US Charts at #36. This is the exact same postion that the single entered into the UK Charts, & this got to #2. Spice conure has joined with a number of leading Spice Sites to get Stop to #1 in the US Charts & to start this process we want to get the single played on MTV Top 20 Countdown. We want every Spice Girls fan to e-mail MTV everyday & request the single Stop to be played. We need to send around 15,000 e-mails a day for the single to get into the MTV Top 20. Tenor Spice

On Tuesday the 8th of June superstar tenor Luciano Pavarotti sang with the 4 remaining Spices in Italy for a charity concert for the African Country Liberia. He joined them in singing their soon to be released single Viva Forever.

Geri has OFFICALY left the Group

Geri Halliwell has left the group. A press conference was held on Sunday the 31st and one of Geri's lawyers read a statement from the former spice that put all the rumors to rest and that she was indeed leaving the 4some. She aplogized to her fans and wished the other 4 girls sucess on the rest of the tour. No word yet if Geri will be going solo or not but the American leg of the tour will go as scheduled.

Happy Birthday MelB! May 29th

Geri Sick
Geri "Ginger Spice" has come down with gastro-enteritis. She was not well enough to perform at the National Lottery in Britain. The other 4 performed Viva Forever without her. Soon after they were jeted to Oslo, Norway without her.

New Album
The girls are working on their 3rd album due out before Christmas.

2nd Movie
The Spice Girls' 2nd movie is planned & they will start shooting it at the end of this year. They will not be playing themselves but different characters. It's supposed to be set in the 50's.

Viva Forever Release
The Viva Forever release has been pushed back 2 weeks to June 8th.

MelB Engaged
A rumor has it that MelB is engaged to a dancer in the Spiceworld Tour.

New Dolls
The "On Tour" Spice Girl dolls are due out in June. Each comes with headphones, a holographic sticker, and a mininature Spice Girl package with a collectible 2-inch figure.

New Book
A book all about the Spice Girls is in the works by a former Virgin Records press agent. it is due out later this year.

Fur & Pies Don't Mix
After the TFI Friday Show a member of an anti-fur group threw a custard pie at Victoria. It did not however hit her and she was quickly escorted from the scene.
