The stars were finally showing, this was a well-welcomed change. The ducks had been out patrolling for the past three nights and they were all getting tired. Nosedive was exalted, Duke and Mallory were about to fall down, Tanya was having trouble seeing the computer screen on Drake 1(that's got to be tired) Grin and Wildwing were both tired. Grin had gotten sleep and with his meditation and could control how he felt, but even with his training he was wearing down. Wildwing didn't look that tired but according to Nosedive he hadn't gotten any sleep since the patrols started. -In the Rec-Room- Wildwing: lets all try and get some sleep, maybe Dragonous will do the same tonight. Nosedive: I'm so tired that I can't even watch TV. Mallory: God, you are tired! The whole team got up and left for their bunks, they were all asleep in a matter of minutes, except for Wildwing. When morning finally came all of the ducks were in the kitchen. Nosedive: I can't believe it, I finally got some sleep! Duke: Yah, I was sure that Dragonous would wreak havoc last night. Tanya: I think I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Mallory: Hey Grin how long did it take you to fall asleep? Grin: I don't believe in time. Mallory: so you don't even remember, do you? Grin: no. Mallory: What about you Wing? Wildwing: huh, I didn't get any sleep last night. Nosedive: What, did you watch too much television? Nosedive started laughing, he looked up his brother who just seemed to let the remark roll off his back. But Tanya gave him a large glare. Tanya: That wasn't funny Nosedive! Nosedive: He-he-he oh, uh sorry. Duke: How couldn't you sleep it was so quiet last night? Wildwing: I don't know I just couldn't. Tanya: How long has it been since you've gotten any sleep? Wildwing: I'm not sure, I lost count. Mallory: Tanya, could Dragonous have something to do with this? Tanya: Maybe, but a lot of people have sleep problems so it's probably nothing. -In the Raptor- Chameleon: Hey boss there's something you should see. Dragonous: What is it Chameleon? This better be important! Wraith: Lord Dragonous we have picked up some type of alien mother ship. Dragonous: What?! What type of ship is it? Siege: Well uh the computers can't identify it. Dragonous: That's impossible we stole that ship library from the most intelligent life forms in the universe! Siege: This ship is all knew the computers have never seen anything like it. Dragonous picks up the Chameleon and slams him into a near by wall. Dragonous: Get out of my way you incompetent twit! What are the ships barring and how long has it been in the earth gravitational pull? Wraith: The ship has been above Anaheim and it's been here there for about four days now. Dragonous: something very strange is going on here and I hate not knowing what it is! Siege! Siege: Yes Lord? Dragonous: You and Chameleon teleport to the alien ship and find out what's going on. Chameleon: Yes! (The Chameleon changes into a green version of the Thing from the fantastic four) It's clobbering time! Dragonous: No? (Dragonous knocks down the Chameleon and puts his foot on top of him) I don't want to make enemies out of these creatures yet! Chameleon: Ok, Ok! The Chameleon changes back and Siege and him teleport to the alien ship. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Chapter Two: Alien- Siege and Chameleon had just teleported into the control room of the alien ship. Chameleon: What are we doing here anyway? Siege: We have to find out what type of technology these aliens have and then after we make "friends" with them we take them over! Chameleon: why don' t we just steal the ship? Siege: these are new begins, we don't know if they are more powerful then us. Chameleon: well, how are we going to meet them in the control room? Siege: were in here to see if the computer will recognize the technology. Alien: your computer will not Siege and the Chameleon both draw a gun and raise it at the unknown alien. Chameleon: who are you? Alien: I am the commander of this ship and you are unwanted guests. Siege: Oh, yah, and what are you going to do about it? Alien: Computer secure them in cells 4 and 5. Siege and Chameleon are surrounded by a blue light and are transported to two different holding cells. Alien: Computer put a com-link up with the one called Dragonous. -The Raptor- Wraith: Lord Dragonous there's a transmission coming in for you. Dragonous: put it on the screen. The transmission is put on the screen but all you can see is static. A clear image of the cockpit is shown but no one is seen. A single voice then is heard. Alien: Lord Dragonous is it? I believe that I have something that belongs to you. An image of Chameleon and Siege appeared on the screen. The two henchmen were in separate cells and were desperately trying to escape. Dragonous: What do you want? Alien: I am the last of my race. Dragonous: What does that have to do with me and why are you hiding yourself? Alien: I will show myself in time but I need your help. Dragonous: Why do you need me and why are you keeping my henchmen prisoners? Alien: Your henchmen have seen me and I can't allow anyone to know what I look like for now anyway. Dragonous: Again why do you need my help?! Alien: I am the last of my race. Our sun exploded destroying everything in its path, my home planet was demolished. A few of us survived and we tried to find a new home world and restart our race. We found a planet and we began our race on the New World. But the civilians that inhabited the planet feared us and murdered all of the newborn. Our race is very powerful and we destroyed them but no with out a price, our children were dead and our powers were running low. We traveled form planet to planet taking what we needed and then moving on. We were on a planet, I was on patrol on the outside of the universe, when I returned everyone was dead. All of the adults and children had been killed *sniff* I couldn't understand it! Dragonous: What does this have to do with me? Alien: I need a mate to continue my race. Dragonous: If you are referring to me Alien: Hardly!!! Dragonous: I am tired of these games, what do you want?! Alien: I have already chosen a mate. Dragonous: So how does it concern me? Alien: If I could continue my race like many others needs a male and a female to recreate. But unlike most races we the male withholds the child. Dragonous: No, males on this planet can hold a child! Alien: I am very much aware of that so I have been altering the internal system of my chosen mate. Dragonous: This is all very interesting but I do not see how I fit in. Alien: The mate I have chosen is a bothersome to you and I need you to keep the rest of the team busy so they will not notice the change in him. Dragonous: who is the mate? Alien: Do I have your agreement? Dragonous: who is the mate? Alien: If I told you, what is to keep you from killing him? Dragonous: True I agree if you tell me who he is. Alien: Agreed, I have chosen the one called Wildwing to be my mate. Dragonous: Ha, you have chosen the one that will never be with you, not in a million years! Alien: wrong, I am changing him, ever since you have started attacking the team for the past four days I have taken him. Dragonous: What do you mean? Alien: I have to change him, his personality, his motives, and the ones he calls friends and enemies I will change the way he sees his friends and enemies. I will make his team the enemy and you his friends. Wraith: Lord Dragonous, if the lady speaks the truth, with Wildwing on our side we couldn't lose. The ducks are all close to him, they would not hurt him. Dragonous: You are right, ALIEN! Alien: Yes Dragonous? Dragonous: I will help you, what do you have in mind to stop the ducks. Alien: Focus all of firepower on one of the other ducks, the ducks will most likely pay attention to that duck alone. Dragonous: why only one, why not all? Alien: I don' t care as long as Wildwing is not injured! Dragonous: Will I get my henchmen back? Alien: After the job is done. The transmission turns off and a black scene is left. Wraith: Are you going to do what she asks? Dragonous: Yes, if she's speaks the truth Wildwing will be on our side and we will take over this pathetic planet once and for all! Dragonous slams his fist into the control panel. -At the Pond- The ducks are practicing for there game later in the week. Nosedive, Mallory, and Grin were on the one team and Duke, Tanya, and Wildwing are playing defense. Nosedive passes the puck to Mallory, Duke tries to check her into the boards but she easily outmaneuvers him. Mallory passes to Grin, he winds-up a fires. The puck begins to sail near the left bottom corner of the goal. Wildwing begins to block, but then grabs his stomach, the puck sails past him. Before anyone can say anything Drake 1's alarm goes off. Wildwing: what is it Tanya? Tanya: Drake 1 is picking up teleporter energy down town. Wildwing: To the Arrow Wing!
