--Appearance: Lyric is a full-blooded Korsain. She has snowy white feathers, wispy light brown hair with natural blonde streaks that she keeps cut short (above shoulder length), and dark forest-green eyes. Also, a long scar running diagonally along the right side of her neck. She is not ashamed of this scar, in fact she's actually a little proud of it. She is 5'6" tall, and slender. Lyric has a very innocent appearance, and she has learned to take advantage of her looks to get her out of trouble. It's hard to believe that such a sweet-looking girl could be a thief.
--Attire: Whatever's comfortable. Her favourite outfit is a sleeveless lemon-yellow shirt, blue jeans, and red canvas shoes. She likes to wear bright colours (except when pulling a heist, of course). She hates dresses with a passion, claiming that "one can't do anything in a dress."
--Weaponry: Her preferred weapon is a standard pucklauncher, which she's extremely good with and keeps near her most of the time. She's also learning to use a Duck Saber.
--Accent: Inuvian (the Puckworld equivalent of Canadian). Quiet and gentle, yet articulate. Always very gramatically correct, except that she has a slight tendancy to create new past tenses for verbs (saying 'remound' instead of 'reminded' on a regular basis, and occasionally producing words like 'throve' in place of 'thrived'). She avoids using slang or foul language, and has never been known to raise her voice.
--Personality: Lyric's middle name suits her perfectly, as she is always ice-cool. Very quiet and reserved, sometimes to the point of being withdrawn, she prefers keeping to herself and saying no more than she has to. However, she will open up to her closest friends if necessary. When Lyric does speak, she is very blunt and to-the-point. She has a tendancy to state the obvious, though.
Lyric is a serious and somber duck, and those who don't know her well are inclined to believe that she has no sense of humour at all. She does have one, but it can be very subtle. She virtually never shows any emotion whatsoever. The closest that she ever comes to being angry is being mildly displeased, and she can become somewhat sarcastic and stubborn when in such a mood. But these moods are rare, as she can shrug off just about anything. Lyric is always respectful of everyone, whatever their rank; yet she is also not afraid to stand up to anyone, whatever their rank. She never hesitates to come to the aid of her friends. She is patient with everybody at all times, almost exceedingly so.
She has more of a conscience and higher moral standards than one would ever expect to find in someone who steals for a living. Lyric is very much against any sort of violence, unless it cannot be avoided in any way. Though she cares a great deal for the Brotherhood, she does not enjoy stealing. This causes a fair amount of inner conflict, which she generally manages to hide quite well from those around her.
She is usually very thoughtful, but almost never shares her thoughts. Often, she retreats into her own little world, and can be spaced out at times. However, when she needs to be, she is quick to make decisions and take action. She prefers to use her mind to get her out of tricky situations, as she is not physically strong. But, if the need arises, she can hold her own in a fight. She is generally sure of herself, and rarely appears insecure.
Lyric doesn't smile very often, and laughing is ever rarer for her, but that doesn't mean she's sad. That's just the way she is.
--History: Lyric had a happy early childhood. Her family was small, but it was closely knit. She was orphaned at the age of nine when her parents and her brother were killed in an accident, and was placed in a foster home in Keltor. Her foster parents were old friends of her father, but Lyric had never met them; they were complete strangers to her, and she didn't like living with strangers. She soon ran away and took to living on the streets of the city, becoming a pickpocket to survive.
At the age of twelve, Lyric left Keltor for DuCaine Metropolis, though to this day she's not really sure why she did. In the Metro, she soon "met" Duke l'Orange when she tried to steal his wallet. She managed to get her hand on it, but he noticed within a second and grabbed her by the arm. She squirmed free and took off, but he caught up to her, of course. He wasn't angry; instead he was impressed that such a young duck could (almost) steal from a professional thief. So he brought Lyric into the Brotherhood, and they became her family.
The Saurians invaded Puckworld when she was fifteen and a Presaber, and she ended up in a workcamp for a few months. She attempted an escape with a friend, a young drake named Ian, just a couple weeks before the Saurians were defeated. She made it out alive; he didn't. Lyric returned to the Brotherhood when it was reformed, and became a Saber Student a few months after that. Not much of interest has happened to her since then, not that she's complaining.
--Likes: Lyric likes to be alone, basically. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that she dislikes being with others. She enjoys the company of her friends when she's in one of her more sociable moods. She loves snowstorms, and is rather fond of junk food and cola.
--Dislikes: Well, she hates the Saurians (of course). Lyric's somewhat uncomfortable around crowds or in mountainous regions, as both make her feel a little claustrophobic. Tasteless jokes disgust her, and she despises getting shots.
--Overheard: "You'll not get me to do anything; I can be just as stubborn as you."
"Now, let's not be maiming anyone just yet."
"This is not a good thing..."
"Whatever it was, I was not involved."
--Said of her: Estelle - "Lyric's the only halfway innocent one of this lot."
--Other: Lyric plays goalie position in hockey, and likes to play whenever she gets a chance (which isn't very often). She uses jersey number 61. She has glasses but never wears them, as her vision's good enough without them.
