TRIBUTE

We lost a great and talented man
with the passing of Brian Keith.
How his smile would warm up my heart!
His presence just filled up a screen.
He was the Cowboy you wanted to ride with.
The Marine you wanted fighting by your side.
The Judge you needed in your court
and the Uncle we all wanted as our own.
He was strong with understanding,
direct with compassion.
He was a private man,
yet, we all felt we knew him personally.
He had the gift to reach out of the screen
and touch your very soul.
Did we really lose him?
I don’t believe we did, for he lives on.
Forever on our screens,
in our memories,
our hearts and our souls.
You know, his blue eyes still twinkle and
His smile STILL warms up my heart.
