My name is Gwendolyn Stockman! I am a 17-year-old eleventh grader at Pittsford Sutherland High School. My hobbies are downhill skiing, Nordic skiing (It is really so much better than downhill, even though you can't go as fast, maybe I'm just saying that cuz I'm on the varsity Nordic Skiing team...hmmm....) reading, chatting, the internet, biking, rollerblading, swimming, and working on my school web page (and yes this is a hobby). Click here to visit my school web page!  Another thing that I do a lot is fool around with programming. I am teaching myself JavaScript, so as to jazz up my school web site. I like to read fantasy, historical fiction, mysteries, and adventure. I read historical fiction by Ann Rinaldi, my favorite one by her is The Last Silk Dress.  I read mysteries by Mary Higgins Clark (also see here).   I don't have a favorite by her. My favorite fantasy author at the moment is Marion Zimmer Bradley. My favorite book by her is The Mists of Avalon.  and am working on a trivia site for it. My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls, and my previous favorite one is Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. My favorite move is Mulan. I own the Star Wars trilogy. I have 2 sisters. One is named Madeleine, she is in 9th grade, and the other is named Rebecca, and is in 7th grade. I have a whole corner of my room based on Star Wars. I also like to create my own moving images like the one below. I am also in Girl Scouts, and created a web page as a service project for the Emergency Preparedness Badge if you want to see it go here.
