Scream 2 takes place 2 years after the events of the first Scream.
Gale Weathers (Cox) has written a best seller about the incident which has now become a movie "STAB" (starring Heather Graham & Tori Spelling as Sidney)
Sidney (Campbell) & Randy (Kennedy) are now studing film in Windsor collage
After Maureen (Pinkett) and Phil (Epps) are brutally murdered at a sneak preview of STAB, Dewey (Arquette) comes to help Sid.
This sequel is definatly an equal (It's just a pity that they didn't keep some of the new cast for Scream 3)
