16 FEBRUARY :
Sorry about not having any updates in 2 weeks, but I was away on holiday for 5 days, then I had Exams in schools, and hardly had anytime to do anything else, nevermind update the site.
Sadly, as you may already know, Sarah Michelle Gellar's Simply Irresistible failed to gather a crowd, and the film had to settle for No.9 in the Box Office and only 2.5 Million.
Since it is a long weekend in the US, official box office results won't be out until tomorrow (and I will then put up the TOP 25), but so far the Top 10 looks like this:
2 FEBRUARY :
She's All That got to No. 1 in the US Box Office Top 20 , while Shakespeare In Love got to No.1 in the UK Box Office Top 15 .
Shakespeare in Love raked in 3 times as much as Stepmom which came in second
The next episode of Buffy has been added. It is part 1 of a two parter. Bad Girls and then followed by "Consequences" the following week.
----- Click here for loads of Buffy Rumors -----
Simply Irresistable (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Blast From The Past (Alicia Silverstone) are both released on Friday the 5th of Feb.
27 JANUARY :
The UK Box Office Top 15 & the
US Box Office Top 20 are both up now.
Sarah Michelle Gellar's Simply Irresistible has been pushed forward to Feb. 5
24 JANUARY :
Sarah Michelle Gellar WILL have a small cameo in She's All That .
It is a non talking roll. Sarah got the part when she was filming a classroom Buffy scene in the room right next to where She's all that was being filmed -- They are both being filmed in the same school. The director spotted her and asked her to sit in in some scenes, and she agreed. Her most noticable scene is a cafeteria scene, but she may also be spotted in some more
23 JANUARY :
Films due out in 1999 has been updated. There are more UK release dates and films due out in the USA up until July 99.
Note. A blast From The Past -- starring Alicia Silverstone may be release on either Feb 5 or else Feb 12
The next 2 episode of Buffy have been added :
Buffy celebrates her 18th birthday and is drained of her Slaying powers in Helpless
and then Xander falls in with the wrong crowd who want to reopen the Hellmouth in The Zeppo
You may of noticed that I now have the UK Box Office Top 15 15 not 10
and starting from next week I will have the US Top 20 instead of Top 10
Actually, The new UK Top 15 is up now. Psycho failed to rise, falling into No. 7, and Lisa Kudrows The Opposite Of Sex only opened at No. 11
I have added more on Austin Powers 2: The Spy Who Shagged Me . AP2 is due for release on 11 June, the same day as the South Park Movie.
I have also added She's All That to the A2Z
I have hear a rumor that Sarah Michelle Gellar has a cameo in She's All That -- I will know if this is true soon
18 JANUARY :
I know, I know, it's been almost two weeks since the last update, and i never put up the Box Office results ast week, but I'm back again now. But sadly, I will probably only have time to update about twice a week (Probably Monday/Tuesday and then again on Friday/Saturday)
I know last weeks charts were never put up, but the UK Top 5 were:
9 JANUARY :
Sorry for the delay in updating the UK and the US Box Office , but both are here now.
The next episode of Buffy -- Gingerbread has also been added

I have added a summary to the new Sci/fi horror flick Virus

Major news concerning The X Files has been added to the X Files Page
In the US Box Office Top 10 , Patch Adams opened @ No. 1, Stepmom @ 2 and The Faculty opened @ No. 5.
No.5, I bet Kevin Williamson taught it would do better, but (from what I have heard), it is totally unoriginal and boring. Not what you would usually find in one of Williamson's film
Star Trek: Insurrection opens in the UK on Friday, with Advance screening on Thursday
21 DECEMBER:
There was a surprise at the US Box Office , when The Prince Of Egypt only opened at No. 2, behind
You've Got Mail
Like most Horror/Sci Fi films Star Trek: Insurrection droped 3 places to No. 4
There is a load of new films opening in the US next week, but which of them will be hits, and which will be misses
STEP-MOM -- Susan Sarandon & Julia Roberts

I have'nt got the full results of the UK Box Office, but the Top 5 is as follows
1 : Rush Hour
2 : Babe II: Pig In The City
3 : Antz
4 : Out Of Sight
5 : Blade
The title of that film I told you Baby Spice Emma Bunton was going to be in is
SLEEPING BEAUTY (TV Movie)
I have added some new films to the A2Z, they will all be released next year

7 DECEMBER :
Kevin Williamson has finally spoken about Scream 3, he says that
"It's a departure from the last two, yes it's a horror movie, yes people will die, but there's a whole new angle, which I can't revel because Bob Weinstein would have a fit"
This quote has also been added to the Scream 3 page
The US Box Office Top 10 results are in...
A Bug's Life remains No. 1, keeping out the remake of the 1960's classic -- Psycho.
Christian Bale has appearently signed up for American Psycho
I will have some News on the new Ben Afflect movie up tomorrow (hopefully)
3 DECEMBER :
It must seem like a cast reunion in Buffy lately. First with James Masters returning as Spike, and now with Mark Metcalf returning as The Master.
THE MASTER; but he was killed. Yes, but in the new episode, The Wish, Cordy wishes that Buffy never came to Sunnydale...
Also, John Travolta has been removed from The Thin Red Line. I'm not sure if his scenes were cut out, or if he just left the movie, but anyway, he will not be in it.
2 DECEMBER :
Will the flop of Babe II in the US last week,
mean that the film will flop again when it opens in the UK this Friday ???
Also released this friday in the UK is the hughly successful Jackie Chan flick Rush Hour
This weekend in the US has the opening of the new/old classic film, Psycho .
Will it succeed in being a Box Office Smash..., check here on Tuesday
Also out in the Us this week is A Simple Plan, starring Bill Paxton, Billy Bob Thornton & Briget Fonda
John Travolta's A Civil Action and a remake of the WWII classic The Thin Red Line (featuring an all-star cast) both open on Christmas Day, 25 December in the US
Disney's The Parent Trap open over in the UK on December 11, while UK David "Mulder" Duchovny fans finally get Playing God, almost 1 and a half years after it's US release
A film to look out for in the new Year in the US is Arlington Road, about a man who suspects that his neighbours are terrorists. it is released on January 15, 1999
1 DECEMBER :
The Box Office results are here at last
In the US Top 10 , A Bug's Life came in No.1, followed by The Rugrats Movie, and then Enemy Of The State at No. 3.
Very Bad Things failed to enter the US Chart.
Click here for the full US Top 10
In the UK Box Office Top 10 , Antz remained No. 1, keeping out the new George Clooney movie -- Out Of Sight..
The Negotiator only got into No. 5, and There's Something About Mary is still hanging in at No. 7.
Click here for the Top 10 movies in the UK this week
Appearently, Brad (Meet Joe Black) Pitt has dumped his fiancee -- Friends star Jennifer Aniston (Rachel). He is said to of broken off with her on live television, none other than the Ophrah Winfrey show !!!
I'm not sure if there is any truth in this, but I hear that Baby Spice, Emma Bunton is to star in a live remake of some Disney Movie (Snow White, Cinderella or something like that)
29 NOVEMBER :
Just a quick look at the US Box Office so far...
A Bug's Life look's set to take the No. 1 spot, while
Enemy Of The State and The Rugrats Movie continue to battle for the No. 2 spot.
Adam Sandler's The Waterboy will probably get the No. 4 position, with Babe II: Pig In The City at No. 5.
The other 3 new entries are doing very poor, with The Ringmaster at No. 8, Drew Barrymore's Home Fries at No. 9, & the new Cameron Diaz dark comedy, Very Bad Things, looking like it's just going to get in at No. 10
27 NOVEMBER :
It has been revealed that Posh Spice "Victoria" has been offered a role as the new Bond girl in Bond 19. The pregnant Spice, currently engaged to soccer ace David Beckham, has just been offered the role of Holly Christmas, but since Victoria is due to give birth this spring, she may have to turn down the part.
A Bug's Life is currently No. 1 so far in the US. It is Thanksgiving in the US, and this is when the biggest crowds usually come to the cinema (usually for a family film), and no better one than this.
The above information is only an estimate. And since it is only Friday, there are still three more days before the offical US Box Office results will be released
James Cameron (Titanic, Aliens, T2), will spend even more money on his next film -- Terminator 3D. The film -- to be released in 2000 -- will star Edward Furlong from the original. It is unknown weather or not Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role
Also, any updates that were made in October, are now on a page of their own... click here
26 NOVEMBER :
The News & Rumors Section has been updated. New films added to it are :
Arnold Schwarzenegger's End Of Days
Sarah Michelle Gellar's Vanilla Fog
and some more news on Die Hard 4, and a small bit about Julia Roberts new film, Stepmom
Sarah Michelle Gellar & Ryan Phillipee's Cruel Intentions has been added to the A to Z,
along with The Mask Of Zorro
Also, I have started to added summaries to Sarah Michelle Gellar's movies. New ones added are :
Scream 2 , I Know What You Did Last Summer & Cruel Intentions
25 NOVEMBER :
NOTE : The character of Lila Crane in the remake of Psycho will be gay...
I have added summaries to many of the new films coming out this week in both the US & the UK.
New ones added are :
Cameron Diaz and Christian Slater's Very Bad Things (opening this weekend : US)
also out this week in the US is A Bug's Life , a new version of the hugely sucessful Antz
Out Of Sight, starring George Clooney & Jennifer Lopez opens in the UK this Friday, as well as
Samuel L. Jackson & Kevin Spacey's The Negotiator
The Prince Of Egypt opens in both the US & the UK over the next few weeks (before Christmas in the UK & US). Starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Jeff Goldblum, Val Kilmer, Sandra Bullack and loads of other celebrities, this is sure to be a massive hit
Also : The US gets Kevin (SCREAM 1 & 2) Williamson's "sure to be a hit" new film The Faculty
24 NOVEMBER :
Sorry about being so long in putting up the UK
and the
US Box Office Charts, but there both up now.
There was a mjor surprise in the US Box Office when Will Smith's new movie Enemy Of The State only entered the chart at No. 2, but if that wasn't bad enough, guess what got to No. 1, none other that The Rugrats Movie ...
Another surprise in the US chart was the fact the Woody Allen's new flick, Celebrity, co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio only got in to No. 10.
In the UK, Antz held onto No. 1 and Blade stuck in at No. 2.
Matt Damon's new movie, Rounders only just managed to get into the Top 10 at No. 9
If you want to know who the killer is in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, click here
18 NOVEMBER :
Hurray, Spike has returned to Buffy in the new episode Lover's Walk. Sadly, the one and only Drusilla has not returned in this episode, but hopefully she'll be back (and badder than ever) very, very soon
16 NOVEMBER :
The Waterboy remains No. 1 in the US Box Office Top 10 , beating new releases like I Still Know What You Did Last Summer , the sequel to last years block-buster I Know What You Did Last Summer , and Brad Pitt's Meet Joe Black.
I Still Know failed to reach the No. 1 spot, meaning that it is just like most horror sequels -- a lame imitation, and proving to do worse at the Box Office. Hard luck Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Brandy and co., but since you lost Kevin Williamson, you also lost the No. 1 spot
15 NOVEMBER
I have added loads more of the filmographies for the Buffy cast. New ones added are :
Nicholas Brendon "Xander Harris"
Alyson Hannigan "Willow Rosenberg"
Charisma Carpenter "Cordelia Chase"
David Boreanaz "Angel"
Seth Green "Oz"
Eliza Dushku "Faith"
Anthony Stewart Head "Rupert Giles"
Robia La Morte "Jenny Calendar"
Juliet Landau "Drucilla"
James Marsters "Spike"
Kristine Sutherland "Joyce Summers"
Julie Benz "Darla"
